Over on Coronation Street, trouble brews for Jason Grimshaw's relationship when he realises that his girlfriend Eva Price is hiding something from him.

Jason (Ryan Thomas) becomes paranoid when he is manipulated into thinking that Eva and his father Tony Stewart are betraying him.

The storyline begins when Eva (Catherine Tyldesley) decides that she and Jason should get their own place.

Jason is initially delighted with the idea, but soon realises that he doesn't have enough money to buy a flat just yet.

Tony (Terence Maynard) is keen to help his son and offers to lend the couple a deposit, but Jason stubbornly insists that they're not a charity case.

Despite this, Eva and Tony take matters into their own hands and decide to view some flats behind Jason's back. They hope that once they find the right one, they can show it to Jason and convince him to change his mind about the deposit.

When Eva confides in Jason's brother Todd about this secret plan, he realises that he can use this as a way to destroy his sibling's relationship for good.

Knowing that Tony and Eva will be spending lots of time alone, Todd plans to trick Jason into thinking that they're having an affair.

When Todd learns that Tony and Eva are alone at the flat, he encourages Jason to pop home. With Tony and Eva going over property details together, Jason walks in and demands to know what they're playing at…

I think it's bit strange if Eva breaks up with Jason only because he thinks she and Tony are having an affair. It's not good enough reason to me..
I know it's about trust but that comes with time. And I think he doesn't trust his dad more like. Badly written. Why couldn't she just decide that she wants to go&see her mom for a while?? Surely Jason would understand this..Or do they want to pair him with someone else again in the meantime? Bit too much I think..
