Ian Beale will be standing at the altar for the fifth time during EastEnders' live anniversary week.

He will marry Jane (Laurie Brett), after she proposed on Christmas Eve during the Walford Community Choir concert.

Scenes airing next week will see the happy couple confirm their wedding date as February 19, 2015 - EastEnders' 30th anniversary.

The pair were originally married in 2006, but their turbulent relationship ended in 2011 when Ian had an affair with Glenda Mitchell. Following the split, Jane left Walford in 2012.

The ceremony will take place during EastEnders' live week, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the long-running soap.

Lucy Beale's killer will also be revealed during the anniversary week.

BBC One's controller Charlotte Moore said: "BBC One will bring the nation together to celebrate 30 years of EastEnders by going live across the anniversary week.

"Next February will mark a massive event on the channel by creating the ultimate 'doof doof' and finally reveal who killed Lucy Beale."

The BBC will broadcast a 30-minute live episode as part of the celebrations, beginning on Monday, February 16, 2015. As well as a fully live episode, there will be live elements added to other instalments throughout the week.
