ITV 60th to air a live Corrie

any idea on storylines for 60th

It would be interesting to mull upon
who will still be a character in 2020
when Corrie has its 60th anniversary.
But with so many older ones-might not
be kind! and a bit difficult to think of
storylines. Hopefully some of the less
talented younger ones will have gone too.

I know Corrie is one of ITVs flagship progs
but 2015 is ITV s 60th not Corries- just
case of jump on Live Episode bandwagon!

It`s 6 years to go before the 60th, It`s way too early to even think of any storylines than could top the 50th anniversary tram crash. That was spectacular, and would be a tough episode to beat.
Lets hope that Stuart Blackburn is long gone by then. He has ruined Corrie, and I can`t stand seeing his grinning face anymore. It makes me want to punch it - repeatedly with both fists.
And I`m not usually a violent person honestly.

It's for the 60th anniversary of ITV not Coronation Street which is next year.

I think the main purpose of a live episode is to give those of us who write episodes for the "all purpose soap storyline" thread a chance to get in first!
