Emmerdale Spoilers 20th - 24th October 2014
Charity protects her family when the police come knocking, but is left broken when Noah rejects her.
Charity’s attacker wakes from their coma and panics over what has happened to her. Charity
receives an order to sell Home Farm. Cain is forced to offer her a place to stay, but Moira is not
happy about the arrangement and insists that she muck in at the
farm. Megan tricks Leyla into confessing to her affair with Jai and
demands that she return the office keys. Katie advises Leyla to put
Jai behind her and to fight for her business. Kirin is jealous when
he sees Vanessa out on a blind date. Katie is shocked to read
Kerry’s published magazine article and is incredulous to hear of her
plans for a sequel. James receives word that Ross has been seen
in Leeds and sets off to search for him. Jimmy admits to Nicola that
he has been seeing baby Carl. The new owners of Home Farm
arrive – Lawrence and his daughter Chrissie. Andy clashes violently with his brother Robert, who
turns out to be Chrissie’s fiance. Moira worries that her refusal to be blackmailed by Maxine might
have backfired when the police get in contact.

Good. He must be back soon.

Monday

DI Bails arrives at the Dingles' but doesn't get too far when Charity protects her family. Does Bails have enough evidence to nail Charity over what she has done, and will Charity be left broken when Noah rejects her?

Meanwhile, Megan tricks Leyla into confessing to her affair with Jai.

Elsewhere, Pete is reluctant to move into Mulberry following Charity's ordeal, but Debbie insists it's what she wants.

Also today, Jimmy rings Juliette about baby Carl but is caught out by Rodney.

Finally, Rodney is put out when he realises Doug has a date with Diane.


Tuesday

Charity's kidnapper wakes up from their coma in hospital, but panics on hearing they have been unconscious for four days. The culprit is sick with dread over what will have happened to Charity whilst they have been out of action.

Meanwhile, Megan confronts Jai over his affair with Leyla, but he makes matters worse. Later, Leyla discovers that Megan has changed the lock on the office door.

Elsewhere, Kirin is preparing for his driving test when Vanessa and Rhona arrive back from holiday. Vanessa is annoyed to learn that she has been set up on a blind date with Nigel, her drugs rep, but she uses Nigel to make Kirin jealous.

Also today, Nicola is left shocked when Jimmy tells her that he's been seeing Carl behind her back. Jimmy insists he cannot pretend Carl doesn't exist.

Finally, Katie is suspicious about what Kerry is up to. She is soon staggered to read Kerry's published article and is incredulous to hear of her plans for a sequel.


Wednesday

Charity is shocked to hear that her attacker is awake and is further stressed when Jimmy tells her that the insurance assessors are up at Home Farm. Charity breaks down when she receives an order to sell the estate.

Charity receives no comfort from her family and Cain receives the short straw in having to offer her a place to stay, but how will Moira react when Cain turns up with Charity in tow?

Meanwhile, Megan demands the office keys from Leyla. Later, Leyla is given food for thought when Katie tells her to put Jai behind her and to fight for her business. She tells Megan how Jai truly loves Megan not her. What will Megan think?

Elsewhere, Nicola is giving Jimmy a hard time about baby Carl, worried about how Angel will react to the news. However, Jimmy is preoccupied with what is happening up at Home Farm.

Also today, Katie and Andy plan on using some of Kerry's magazine money towards their wedding.

Finally, Nicola gives Andy some security work around Home Farm, Noah moves in with Debbie, while Kirin and Vanessa get back together.


Thursday

Lawrence and his daughter Chrissie arrive in the village. Nicola is busy sorting the Home Farm open day to attract potential purchasers when Chrissie arrives to look around. Nicola is immediately suspicious and suspects that she has only come for the free booze, so she promptly insults her. Chrissie is rude back and seems determined to look around.

Nicola soon decides to teach this woman a lesson and play her a bit. She begs Katie and Andy to pretend to be rich to put Chrissie off the house and Chrissie completely falls for the act. However, the pair are soon left red-faced and shocked when Chrissie's fiancé Robert Sugden arrives.

Meanwhile, the Dingles are preparing a party for Lisa's return but Zak decides not to tell her about Charity's latest news. Moira is fed up with Charity staying at the farm, so Cain asks Chas if she will take her. Although she refuses, Chas leaves on a mission...

Elsewhere, Rakesh tells Megan that Leyla is owed double her investment if she is to be bought out of the business. Megan is encouraged when Jai offers her the money to buy Leyla out of the business completely. However, when a cold Jai tries to pay Leyla off, Leyla has something else up her sleeve.

Also, James receives word that Ross was seen in Leeds a few days ago and sets off searching.


Thursday (2)

Katie is confused by her feelings at seeing Robert again. Robert enjoys winding her and Andy up as he and Chrissie look around Home Farm as prospective purchasers. Chrissie tries to persuade Robert to move to the village but he is defiant, insisting they are not moving here.

Later, Chrissie's father Lawrence arrives and is amused to witness a punch-up between arch-rivals Andy and Robert. Lawrence is immediately intrigued by the clear resentment between the brothers. Protective father Lawrence senses an opportunity to split Chrissie and Robert up, but how will the Sugdens take the news when Lawrence reveals he has just purchased Home Farm?

Meanwhile, Lisa is stressed when she finds out about Charity, furious that she has been lied to. Noah rejects Charity again but Chas urges her not to give up. Charity's self-esteem is at rock bottom when Moira tells her that she will now be mucking in with the farm chores. Later, Lisa tells Zak not to keep any more secrets, but is she hiding a secret of her own?

Elsewhere, Jai is forced to tell Megan that he can't afford to buy Leyla out. Leyla is chuffed to have got her own way.

Also, Ruby notices the tension between Kerry and Ali and insists they have dinner together, much to everyone else's reluctance.


Friday

Moira is impressed when Charity starts to get the hang of life on the farm but they are distracted by Maxine, who demands more money from Moira.

Charity questions Moira about Maxine, but they are interrupted by a call from the police. Has Moira made a mistake refusing Maxine money? Could Adam have paid the price?

Meanwhile, Robert panics when Nicola fills Chrissie in on Robert's history in the village, but he is relieved that she's not put off. Later, Edna refuses a drink from Lawrence, worried about why he wants to live in the village.

Elsewhere, Andy refuses to work at Home Farm, not wanting to give Robert the satisfaction. Leyla asks to be Katie's wedding planner, but Katie turns her down. It soon becomes clear that Megan and Leyla are struggling to work together.

Also, Lisa is determined to lose weight before Belle comes home and secretly begins taking her diet pills.

Finally, Amelia puts a wedding proposal in Ruby's mind to cheer up Ali.

I reckon, by process of elimination, it could either be Ali or Declan. Or possibly even Sam, since he's not even mentioned here. At any rate, it must be one of the Dingles who comes across her in the container but chooses to leave her there.

Was this Charity's punishment for everything she's done???!! Mucking on the farm and being rejected by her family-and her own son?? I'm sorry but not enough for me. I don't understand that she's not arrested??! Please please take her away for a while, I'm sick of seeing her face! I really hope Jai doesn't get into trouble now after attacking her! I've never really liked Jai, but I'm on his side on this one. Could he just get Archie back-and Sam Rachel if possible? All I'm saying is that if this was Charity's long awaited comeuppance I'm truly disappointed in Emmerdale!

And..I couldn't be less interested of what happens to Adam in the prison. Serves Moira right. Maybe, just maybe she now gets it what Chas has been through..

Hit Charity where it hurts. No money. Get her to return cash she stole from the safe, sell her stuff. Make her realise she's no better than anyone else. Bring Rachel and Archie back. Dingles support them and not her.
