Coming up on Emmerdale, it's clear that time is running out for Donna Windsor as her health starts to deteriorate.

Early next month, Donna (Verity Rushworth) feels faint at home and collapses - to the obvious concern of her young daughter April.

Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) soon finds Donna and helps her out, but when he shares the news with Marlon, The Woolpack's chef insists on accompanying his ex-wife to the hospital.

Although it's understandable that Marlon would be worried for Donna, a suspicious Paddy becomes convinced that there is more to it.

As Paddy start to fear that Marlon is falling for Donna again, could he be right?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Monday, August 4 at 7pm on ITV.

If you have been diagnosed with a terminal illness and you have life insurance doesn't it pay out straight away when your still alive?

Donna probably hasn't told the police about her diagnosis as she wants to retain a normal life for as long as she can.

Life insurance would pay out while the person is still alive I believe. My friend's dad's did. Donna mentioned losing money as the firm folded. She called it compensation for the cancer but maybe it was life insurance? From the circumstances Donna described, it didn't sound to me like she'd get any.

Quite right Sarah ,Donna transferred to another constabulary, she would be required to have a medical and the force Doctor would require access to her GP's records. How her previous constabulary was not made aware is beyond me.
