i agree why are they doing the same storyline again, priya pushed their engagement and it appears here jacob does the same this time instead of him wanting to propose.

Emmerdale's David Metcalfe will propose to Alicia Harding next week, but she will be left wondering whether he is being serious.

The couple have been facing fresh turmoil since discovering that David's former fiancée Priya Sharma is pregnant, and find themselves put on the spot when Jacob asks if they are getting married again.

Alicia (Natalie Anderson) and David (Matthew Wolfenden) have been wanting to come clean with Jacob about Priya's pregnancy, both concerned about his already fragile state.

However, as David attempts to reassure Jacob that he will always be there for him, the message gets confused and Jacob is soon keenly asking if the two are getting married again.

As Jacob continues to push the question as to whether Alicia and David are getting married, he encourages a proper proposal. As David kneels, Alicia is left wondering if it's for real.

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, November 28 at 7pm and 8pm on ITV.

Sorry but Megan has slapped Declan yet nobody went 'Ooh, what a cow!' Is it because she's a woman? Now Declan's slapped her, he gets grief. Yes she comes off worse, probably because he's a guy but now everyone is going 'Ooh, bad Declan!'

My point is both are as bad as each other if they do that! Can't have one rule for one and not the other just because this time it is a woman getting hurt.

Charity Sharma causes chaos in Emmerdale next week as she lashes out over her husband's affair with Rachel Breckle. The fiery resident is fuming that Jai is the father of Rache's son after their one night affair and he's been keeping it a secret ever since. In a week of drama she hits the bottle to cope with her heartbreak, before turning her anger on Jai. She turns up drunk at the factory and is furious to discover Noah has taken Jai's side. In a moment of madness she gets behind the wheel of a digger and smashes up Jai's car, hoping it will get a rise out of her husband. But she doesn't get the results she was hoping for as he joins in! He jumps on the car and smashes it with a hammer, determined to take whatever punishment she has for him. Angered by her failed attempt to wind Jai up, Charity makes another mistake by making a move on Cain! A show insider said: 'Cain is just trying to look after her because she's blinding drunk and raging, which isn't a good combination. She misreads the signals and moves in for a kiss!'

I like how Declan just stands there after he hits Megan. She doesn't see his face but I did see a glimmer of his regret despite telling her again in a lower voice 'shut up.'

I do wonder if he'd have hit katie if Diane hadn't arrived.
