He does imo. He's Rhona's husband, so he should have been the one she went to with problems. And even after Paddy learns of Rhona's problems, he does all he can for her. He does have her best interests at heart. Rhona has the chance to make amends to him, yet she's still treating Paddy as if he's the 'mate' and Vanessa is the 'husband.' No wonder he feels pushed out.
Didn't Chas cheat on him? He doesn't get much luck.
