The tape must have been running still when Cameron killed her , because Debbie was involved in the conversation with Cameron as he told her about killing Karl so it can't be that , why would she go to chaz with that she already knew he killed Karl. It has to be a recording of Gennie asking Cameron not to kill her ...

Is Debbie listening to the recording of her and Cameron why would that change her mind about him, she knows he killed Carl and that they were responsible for Gennie's death by chasing her ?????????

Yes but she doesn't know Cameron killed Gennie. So it probably recorded Gennie begging Cameron not to kill her and then him saying sorry. So she'll finally realise he's a murderer. It's only took nearly a year....
