I hope she returns too. This reminds me of when Maggie Jones had to be written out due to ill health

With Hayley leaving also, I hope that we will see some of Roy's half siblings on screen in the future.

I totally understand the need to write her out due to ill health, but considering the script writers are paid to write scripts, I didn't think it was the best plot line they could have come up with. I can't think of anything better, but then I'm not paid to write scripts.

If Stephanie was unable to carry on filming, the scriptwriters would not have had much choice in explaining her departure.
