As bad as Eastenders, alfie jean roxy and the barmaid that never has a line and mo to lend a hand when needed, all standing doing nothing when in walks Max's new wife and asks alfie for a job. While just minutes before he and roxy were talking about the pub having few if any customers and things were bad. Cut to next scene with Max's Mrs behind the bar and the place is packed out. Now its the same in Emmerdale, 2-3 folk in the pub, nothing happening and they can hired another body, lets guess what happens next ...

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's Rachel Breckle and Sam Dingle may have a chance of a romantic future after all.

In the coming days, Rachel (Gemma Oaten) remains mortified over the mix-up she had with Sam regarding the Valentine's card she received. It's clear that she is still harbouring strong feelings for her friend, but Sam (James Hooton) appears to be in denial about their attraction.

Just when Rachel seems ready to give up on Sam, he pays a surprise visit to her place.

Sam finally confesses that he wishes he'd sent her the card in the first place rather than Samson. They share a kiss before he leaves and Rachel is delighted - is this the start of a successful relationship? Rachel and Sam share a kiss.

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Wednesday, February 27 at 7pm on ITV.
