Debbie is still angry with Cain for beating up Cameron, while Zak warns Cain that he won't stand by and watch Debbie get hurt. Zak pleads with Moira to help him get through to Cain, finally making the heartbreaking admission to her that it was him who attacked Cain last winter. Moira is shocked and confronts Cain over it. Cain finally opens up to Moira about how he feels, but it's too late. Cain is stunned when Moira explains it is too much and being with him is not what she wants.

At the same time, Chas is on the brink of ending things with Cameron, who knows he now has serious ground to make up with her. That evening, Cameron lights candles so they can have a romantic dinner. Chas is frosty as she joins him for the meal, angry at what happened with Cain. However, when Cameron apologises and gives her an engagement ring, Chas is soon won over.

Meanwhile, Declan feels pushed aside when Katie leaves to meet Gennie, not wanting him there. At Victoria Cottage, Katie struggles being in the happy gathering of Gennie, Nikhil and Molly, and it hurts to appear to smile along with everything. Declan is stuck about what he can do to help, and he opens up to Megan - explaining that all the talking and sympathising in the world won't give Katie a baby.

Later, Katie opens up to Andy over being unsure whether she can be Molly's godmother. Andy suggests a true friend would not have put that pressure on her in the first place.

    Tuesday

    Hour-long episode

Katie is still conflicted over what to do about the christening, but is touched when Declan shows her the gift he has got for Molly. Soon afterwards in the café, Andy is worried for Katie, and Declan is angry that she has been talking to him. Katie explains to Declan and Megan that she can't face attending the christening - she feels terrible about it, but she doesn't want to be godmother if she can't have a child of her own. Declan is shocked to realise the extent of her feelings.

Over at the church, Gennie is stressed as people start to arrive for the christening, but Molly's gown is missing and Katie hasn't turned up. Nikhil gets the call from Declan to say that Katie is not coming, but Gennie is determined to go and talk her round. When Chas finds out about Katie, she heads to get ready for godmother duties, determined to be there for her sister.

At the church, the congregation continues to wait, but timings will be tight as there is a funeral booked in. Debbie is furious when Chas arrives to be godmother, but Chas stands her ground. Yet soon the situation at the church is out of control as Jude needs to start the funeral, and Cain decides to steer a furious Debbie home. Nikhil desperately pleads with Jude to wait for five more minutes, but he can't.

Not long after, Gennie is thrown to arrive at the church and find a funeral now taking place. Upset at Gennie's day being ruined, Nikhil forms a plan and prepares everything so he can make things right for Gennie...

Meanwhile, Declan wants to reach out to Katie, but she is cool towards him. Declan bites his tongue as Katie lets Andy in, pleased to see him and baby Jack. Andy is shocked at Katie's honesty as she tells him that she felt nothing when Declan told how much he loves her. He is disturbed when a determined Katie tells him that all she has left now is money and a fancy lifestyle, and that's all she is good for.

Elsewhere, Moira pretends to Vanessa that she is not bothered about Cain, Debbie's heart breaks as she tells Sarah that Chas and Cameron are engaged, while Paddy feels pushed aside by Vanessa and Rhona's friendship.

    Thursday

Debbie is due to meet a client, but she is on edge. Cain makes a dig at her, but Debbie is sure her plan will work. Soon afterwards, Charity and Debbie meet Pete in the café. Charity takes a call, leaving Debbie alone with Pete. Debbie is slightly excited at the prospect when Pete asks how she would feel about some extra private work involving drugs.

Back at the office, Charity warns Debbie to keep away from Pete. Charity tells Dom her concerns about Pete, and Dom agrees they have to speak to Cain as Pete is bad news. At the garage, Dom and Charity try to make Cain see the trouble Debbie has got herself into, but Cain thinks Debbie is clever enough to handle things.

Later, Debbie meets up with Pete alone again and it's clear she is tempted by his offer, especially when he explains the amount of money in it.

Meanwhile, Adam can see his mum needs cheering up. After talking to Ashley, he realises that his mum is unlikely to discuss her thoughts on Cain with him. Adam calls Vanessa, who promptly arrives to take Moira for a night out on the town. Cain is unimpressed when he sees Vanessa and Moira leaving the village together.

Elsewhere, Thomas railroads Sean into mischief with Sandy's scooter when he leaves it outside the pub. He's amused as he suggests Sean should take it through the stream. Sandy is livid to discover his scooter missing. Sean feels bad when he wrecks the scooter in the ford and Dan is unimpressed, knowing Thomas was involved. Ruby has to walk Sandy home.

Also, Declan feels sidelined by Katie while Steve suggests she should visit a stud farm in Argentina, while Gabby plays up to Ashley by lying about getting teased at school.

Outside the village hall, Debbie discreetly tells Pete that she needs to make at least £20,000 in a month. Pete spots Gemma and recognises her as Dom's daughter, and it's clear that Gemma is very wary of him. Gemma and Thomas then warn Dom about seeing Pete. Concerned, Dom calls Charity to meet him at the garage. Cain agrees to sort it out and decides to go and confront Pete, while Dom agrees to accompany him as long as they do things his way. Cain tells Charity not to warn Debbie where they are going.

Unbeknown to Dom, there is a baseball bat in the boot of the car as they leave and it's obvious that Cain is going to do more than talk. Outside Pete's, Dom rings the doorbell and Pete answers, but suddenly Cain appears with the baseball bat and shoves Pete back into the house. Cain warns Pete not to go near Debbie and the pair begin fighting, while Dom is at a loss over what to do. With Cain now interfering in Debbie's business, her plan to get rich quick looks over…

Meanwhile, Kerry tries to put a brave face on as she realises that Andy has spent the day with Katie. However, she soon realises that Declan is hoping she will kick off and thus do his dirty work for him. Kerry tries not to rise to the situation, but can't help making snide comments at Katie.

Later at Home Farm, Declan tries to talk to Katie about how he feels, but she accuses him of avoiding her. Declan shows her that he is trying and she sees that he has gone to a lot of effort when he gives her a print-out for a possible trip to Argentina. However, despite Declan's attempts, Katie is still struggling to see a way through their problems.

Elsewhere, Sean realises he's made things worse when he and Ruby take Sandy a wheelchair and Sandy is not impressed, Laurel and Ashley both feel rather cut out of Gabby's life as she only wants to see Bernice and Steve seems to be taking control, while Moira sees Cain with fight injuries and she looks coldly at him.

    Friday

Debbie tells Charity and Cain that they've made things worse. She is then shocked and angry when Sarah gets flowers delivered by courier from Pete. Debbie leaves him a harsh message telling him to meet her, before heading to sort things with Pete once and for all. Soon afterwards in The Woolpack, Cain is riled to hear about the flowers and that Debbie has gone to meet Pete.

On a secluded country road, Pete instructs Debbie to get in the car with him, but she walks off, wanting him to play things her way. Will Debbie manage to sort things out with Pete?

Meanwhile, Katie is clearly tempted by the suggested trip to Argentina, and Steve encourages Katie with it. He suggests that she could even try riding again today. Katie looks happy as she slowly rides her horse, but is unimpressed when Declan arrives and intervenes in a panic, thinking it is too soon for her to be riding.

Later, Andy arrives at Home Farm and is shocked when Declan cruelly tells him not to visit as he is upsetting Katie by bringing Jack up all the time. Andy sees Katie as he is leaving and she is suspicious over his awkwardness, leaving him caught when she wants to know what Declan has said. Could Declan's actions be the final straw for Katie, who confesses her feelings when confronting Declan over it?

Elsewhere, Robbie cheekily asks Debbie for a job and she agrees to think about it, while Ashley confesses his feelings of hopelessness and inferiority around Steve to Laurel.

Does anyone think that Adam likes or will end up with Vanessa the vet? In a scene on the 7th Feb episode, Adam eyes up Vanessa when she picks Moira up. I hope not, I like him and Victoria together.

Oh god I hope not. I like him with Victoria, not sure if they will last though as they hardly seem to spend anytime together.

Maybe TPTB will put him with Debbie - lol.
