and why did he resign in the first place? there was no pressure on him to do so as far as we were shown?

I think he put all the pressure on himself, in a close-knit community like Emmerdale, all knew what he did to Sandy and Edna certainly made it clear that she would not want anything else to do with him as a vicar or privately; I suppose in reality a vicar would have changed parish

and lets face it....Vicars and priests who have done alot worse have never resigned!!!

Ashley is starting to do my barnet in. I wish Lauren would just get with Marlon and have done with it all. Also finding chas and cameron too much too. Dominic reminds me of a thin and hirsute Phil Mitchell with all that heavy breathing. He was the same in The Bill. Nice to look at but you wouldn't want him ringing you late at night!!!
