Coming up in Emmerdale, Chas Dingle and Cameron Murray's affair storyline continues as they head off for a weekend away together.

The pair seize the opportunity to spend time in each other's company while Debbie, Andy and Sarah are on holiday in Paris.

Although they enjoy their time in a hotel room, Chas (Lucy Pargeter) can't help but feel jealous when Cameron (Dominic Power) calls Debbie to see how she's doing.

Over in the village, things become more complicated when Cain receives a phone call from Cameron's son asking for his dad, blowing Cameron's cover story that he's in Jersey with his family.

As Cain decides that Cameron must be playing away, he's determined to get to the bottom of this once and for all. Are Chas and Cameron in danger of being caught out?

Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, June 14 at 6.45pm and Friday, June 15 at 7.30pm on ITV1.

Thursday

Ashley wakes up after an uncomfortable night on the church floor. Edna arrives and almost catches him, and Ashley is awkward as he attempts to hide the fact that he slept there. Outside Mulberry Cottage, Ashley sees Laurel and offers to collect the children from school, but gets upset when she insists that she has it covered. Laurel is conscious that she isn't wearing her wedding ring and tries to hide her hand from Ashley. She leaves unaware that Ashley has surreptitiously entered the house.

Making himself a sandwich, Ashley begins to rifle through drawers, pocketing any of his valuables. Finding Laurel's wedding ring in a box, Ashley looks sad. He then panics when Ruby arrives, snapping at her. As the day continues, Ashley hands over his possessions to a pawnbroker in exchange for money. He soon gives the cash to Laurel, lying about being paid. Later, Laurel is confused to learn from Ruby about how Ashley was in the house alone.


Meanwhile, at Home Farm, Megan is uncomfortable around Robbie and makes it clear that she was serious about her offer to pay for him to travel. Declan arrives and is sceptical about what Megan is up to, suggesting that she should give Robbie a chance. Soon afterwards, Robbie is impressed to hear about the festival and offers his help, but Megan doesn't take him up on it.

Later, Robbie tells Megan that he cannot accept her offer, but is happy to leave. Megan feels guilty and agrees that he can stay, but suggests they should take things one step at a time.

Elsewhere, Chas and Cameron begin their weekend away but Chas is jealous when Cameron calls Debbie, while Rhona is shocked as Pearl returns back to work and is forced to tell Victoria that she has to leave.

Friday

Chas and Cameron are enjoying their time in a hotel room, but Cameron suggests they should venture out as a real couple in public. At the same time, Cain receives a phone call from Cameron's son asking for his dad, and Cain realises that Cameron is not in Jersey. Fearing that Cameron is playing away, Cain starts searching through his belongings, determined to find out what he is up to.

Later in The Woolpack, Cain tells Charity of his suspicions and mentions that Cameron had a previous affair. However, Charity tells him to drop it as Cameron wouldn't hurt Debbie. At the same time, Cameron hears a message from his son, explaining that he tried to call him at home. Mortified, Cameron tells Chas, explaining that Cain will now know he's not in Jersey. The pair begin to panic over what to do…


Meanwhile, Moira is shocked to receive a call about Hannah not turning up to her last two exams. When Moira confronts her over this, Hannah explains that there was no point taking them as she had missed so many lessons due to her dad dying and Holly ending up back in hospital. Hannah adds that even if she did pass her exams, it still won't change anything as her future is set - she will only ever be stuck working on the farm.

Moira is furious, so Holly feels compelled to confess that Hannah feels stuck as she has accepted a job in London. Adam is shocked and when he questions Holly's loyalty, she storms upstairs.

Elsewhere, Justin tells Alicia that she must warn Jacob she could end up going to prison otherwise he will, Paddy and Pearl pressure Rhona to set a date for the wedding, while Laurel intends to ask Ashley for a divorce but stops when she sees the state he's in.
