I know parkerman. It's disgraceful the half-hearted send off they are given Betty. She wasn't some tuppence worth actress who decided to leave because she wanted to crack Hollywood. This women gave 40+ years of her life to the street and many more to showbiz. She deserved on hell of a send off, she passed away 6 months ago and it has been almost a year if not more since she was last on our screens they have had plenty of time to write a fitting tribute to her. Look at the soap exit Jack & Vera got and God love them Bill and liz are still with us. As well as them there has been many soap characters who have died in the soap but the actor is still alive and they have been given a big soap send off. They should have had Steve, Ken, Emily and others going to visit her or talking to her on the phone so there was a build up to what a much loved woman Betty was. Not chucked out with the trash like one of Carla's empty wine bottles.
