Over on Coronation Street, Nick Tilsley struggles to get on good terms with Stella Price as he continues to date her daughter Eva.

Nick (Ben Price) is enjoying his relationship with Eva (Catherine Tyldesley), and as her birthday approaches, he decides that it's the perfect opportunity to make his good intentions clear to Stella.

The businessman gets an invite to Eva's birthday tea, and his desire for happy families leads to Gail (Helen Worth) and Audrey (Sue Nicholls) also receiving invitations - which makes him feel more than a little nervous.

When the gathering does take place, things don't go well and Stella (Michelle Collins) ends up having a go at Nick while Gail and Audrey watch on. Will Nick ever get Stella to warm to him?

Coronation Street airs these scenes on Thursday, February 9 at 8.30pm on ITV1.

Monday

Carla insists it's business as usual and sets off to a client meeting. With the contract secured, Carla's upbeat - but as she arrives back at Underworld, she's floored by a nasty surprise.

At the same time, Peter is faced with problems of his own - Simon's in trouble at school.

Meanwhile, Jason and Rosie's saucy story is in the Gazette and Jason's desperate to hide it from Owen. But Owen catches sight of the paper and fires Jason on the spot. Jason turns to Rosie for sympathy, but she's not in the mood - she's been axed from the road safety campaign due to bad publicity!

Elsewhere, Tracy starts blaring music out of her flat as she continues her war with Steve, an exhausted Katy flies off the handle when Chesney suggests taking an evening job to bolster their income, while Sylvia's enthusiastic when Milton offers Roy a loan to help expand his business - but will Roy tell him it's not what he wants?

Carla is left reeling following a confrontation at the factory.

Seeing her upset, and fed up of people sticking their noses into his affairs, Peter suggests they should sell up and move away. Seeing his logic, Carla's torn - but is she prepared to give up just yet?

Meanwhile, Rosie's feeling sorry for herself after being sacked from the road safety campaign. But when her agent calls and says that off the back of the Gazette piece she's been offered a screen test for a new reality TV show, she's ecstatic.

Elsewhere, there's tension between Chesney and Katy as they struggle to keep on top of things, Tracy turns the heating down to zero after Steve turns off her electric, while Sylvia's horrified when Milton suggests that - having overstepped the mark with Roy - he should return to the States

Thursday

As Carla returns to work, refusing to walk out on the business she started, she insists she's ready for a fight. But back at home, Carla's drained and - with the day having taken its toll on her - she reaches for a bottle of wine.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Carla heads over to Peter's flat in need of some comfort - but when Simon catches them together, he turns on Carla. How can they sort out this mess?

Meanwhile, Rosie's full of nervous excitement as she reveals that she's been offered a place on the reality TV show, but Jason's gutted to hear she'll be filming in London for 12 weeks. She does her best to reassure him, but when she reveals the nature of the show to Sophie, it sounds like Jason's right to be worried!

Elsewhere, the water pipes have burst at Paul's house and Lesley is due home tomorrow, Katy gets angry with Chesney when he tells Anna that she's struggling with Joseph, Tina can't take any more of sleeping on Rita's sofa and asks Jason if he'd be prepared to rent her his flat, while Nick's determined to make inroads with Stella for Eva's sake, but when his pep talk leads to Gail and Audrey being invited for Eva's birthday tea too, he wishes he'd never bothered!


Friday

Rosie still hasn't been honest with Jason, admitting to Sophie that she'd rather let their relationship fizzle out than crush him. But when Jason suddenly decides that he's going to move to London to be with her, Rosie panics. With Jason out of the way, she begs Owen to offer him his old job back - insisting the crash was her fault.

Taking this on board, Owen asks Jason to come back to work. But when Jason refuses, admitting he's moving to London with Rosie, Owen explains that it was Rosie who talked him into changing his mind. Sensing something is amiss, Jason confronts Rosie. Will she come clean about the job and break Jason's heart?

Meanwhile, Katy is exhausted as she deals with Joseph's constant crying. Convinced there's something wrong with him, she takes Joseph to see Dr Carter - but when he insists his behaviour is normal, Katy feels patronised. When she then realises the bank's about to close and she hasn't paid the rent, Katy starts to stress. Seeing Joseph finally asleep, will she wake him?

Elsewhere, Eileen offers Jason's room to a desperate Paul and Lesley, Tommy comforts Tina as the flat holds difficult memories for her, Tyrone's ecstatic as he and Kirsty show off their baby scan picture, while Nick pretends he's forgotten Eva's birthday - but his practical joke backfires and she dumps him on the spot.

Jason's gutted as he returns to Number 11, revealing that Rosie has dumped him. He's further gutted to discover that Eileen has given his room to Paul and Lesley. Feeling betrayed by those he loves, Jason heads to the pub. After accepting his old job back, he drowns his sorrows with Owen and Karl.

Trying to cheer Jason up, Owen and Karl insist that he can do better than Rosie and make fun of her. But, taking offence, Jason defends her before rushing out of the pub. As Rosie says her goodbyes to her family, Jason races over with something to say. Will the couple reconcile before Rosie leaves the street?

Meanwhile, as Tommy helps Tina settle into the flat, she opens up about her dad's death. Back at Number 9, Tommy suggests that Tyrone should visit Tina so they can patch things up. But when Kirsty jumps in that it's too late, Tommy snaps. Will Kirsty succeed in driving a wedge between the two best mates - especially when she suggests that with the baby on the way, it won't be long before Tommy's looking for somewhere else to live?

Elsewhere, Katy rushes to get back from the bank after leaving Joseph home alone, Peter loses it with Simon after he acts up for Carla, and Eva's surprise birthday party gets under way.
