"There is no suggestion that any of the cast have been making money from it."

I wonder why they do it then?????

Maybe she is promoting these businesses because if she get's the book this year she will be needing a job. She's just keeping her options opened. I hope her customer service skills are a lot better on her acting skills.

Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx

Coronation Street star Kate Ford has admitted that she would never appear on a reality TV show.

The actress, who plays schemer Tracy Barlow, joked that she would be too much of a "diva" if she ever joined the jungle for I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.

Ford's Coronation Street co-star Antony Cotton took part in the ITV1 show late last year, finishing in fourth place.

However, Ford told PA: "I'm the last person that would do anything like that. I just don't like doing anything as myself.

"The public might have a preconception that I would be like Tracy myself, but also I'm quite high maintenance at times.

"I might have a massive diva strop and storm off, and I wouldn't be able to sleep because I have to have the environment completely right in order to get to sleep. I'd just be exhausted, ratty, horrible and a diva!"

Ford's current Coronation Street storyline sees Tracy preparing to marry Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) after lying that his ex Becky (Katherine Kelly) was responsible for her miscarriage.

CORRIE star Bill Roache has blasted web fraudsters who set up fake sites in his name to attack other celebs.

The 79-year-old actor hit out after a string of Twitter attacks on TV hosts and footballers.

A genuine-looking Twitter page claiming to belong to Bill has abused dumped Daybreak stars Christine Bleakley, 32, and Adrian Chiles, 44, for their looks.

Also targeted were footballers John Terry, 31, Joey Barton, 29, Robbie Fowler, 36, Luis Suarez, 24, and Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish, 60.

There were also suggestions on the site that Bill was being targeted by bitter colleagues because he refused to have sex with them.

His girlfriend – weather girl Emma Jesson, 43 – was also a victim of the abuse. The sick insults cannot be reprinted here for legal reasons.

Last night Bill, who has played Ken Barlow in the soap for 51 years, said: “I really do want people to know that the Bill

Roache account on Twitter is run by an imposter and most definitely not me.

“I am not on Twitter and never have been. I would not know how to Tweet to save my life!

“I am not even on Facebook, despite there being three accounts in my name on there as well.”

He added: “It baffles me why someone would want to pretend to be someone they are not and to say some quite outrageous things about people I know.

“I hope this imposter is stopped as soon as possible.”

The fake account has been going since 2009 and, with 6,523 followers has fooled droves of Corrie fans.

CORRIE stars had a sing-along in the Rovers Return to help promote a charity raising cash to help areas hit by last summer's riots.

TVStars of the ITV1 soap Chris Fountain, Ryan Thomas, Lisa George, Catherine Tyldesley, Georgia May Foote, Ian Puleston-Davies and Peter Gunn gave up their lunch hour on Friday to sing for Project Underdog.

Last year, the charity released a cover of Linkin Park song Iridescent, with proceeds going to help youngsters enter sport and music.

Coronation Street's Kate Ford has said starring in a soap is one of the best jobs for a working mum.

The 34-year-old actress - who has a two-year-old son, Otis, with her TV producer husband James - admitted it was a struggle to juggle the demands of motherhood and work.

"I think it's probably the same as any working mum really. It's hard; there's no two ways about it, but you make it work don't you the best you can," said Kate, who plays conniving Tracy Barlow.

"In many ways actually being in a soap is probably a really good job for a working mum because, like for instance this week I'm only working two days, so it's not a nine-to-five job.

"We do get more time at home than you would do in a nine-to-five job. You get busy times when you're away from home a lot, and then you get times like now, where I've just had four weeks off."

Kate's contract on the show lasts until November 2012 and she admitted: "I don't know beyond that."

I know what I would like to see - the character to be killed off so this person can't come back - ever

She added: "Tracy's a really enjoyable character. She's always up to something."
