Thank goodness the judges were powerless to save her last night - good riddance. I suspect she had some sort of a deal from the outset, given the overstyling from day one and the expensive gear she wore at the Judges Houses stage. Anyone who talks about themselves in the third person is a joke (was she a boxer in a former life?), but when they haven't sold a single record in their lifetime it's a clear indication of an overblown ego. Don't mind who wins now, but hope Gareth Malone's Military Wives Choir get the Christmas number one.

The best part of the show for me this year is Dermot and Olly (the presenters)

The X Factor 2011 celebrity duets could well take a strange twist, if some new reports today are to be believed. According to The Examiner, show bosses are hoping to pair up this year’s final three with last year’s top three singers!

It’d mean seeing Amelia Lily, Little Mix and Marcus Collins each singing alongside one of Matt Cardle, One Direction or Rebecca Ferguson.

The website claims that last year’s winner Matt Cardle has been paired with Marcus, Rebecca with Amelia and One Direction with Little Mix. Where all eyes will no doubt be on Perrie and Zayn

We’re not sure we like the sound of it… at all, but with bosses recycling One Direction and JLS yet again for the final, it does seem that they are struggling to sign stars up to the show.

The official X Factor 2011 celebrity duets will be confirmed later on in the week.

As previously reported, Coldplay, Michael Bublé and Leona Lewis will also perform on during the show’s final this weekend, which is being held at Wembley Arena for the first time.

I am afraid that I shall be glad to see the end of this series of the X Factor. Haven't really enjoyed it very much. IMO it is on its last legs

Olly Murs has confessed he's not sure if he wants to front The Xtra Factor again next year.

Despite receiving positive feedback for his hosting skills alongside Caroline Flack on The X Factor's ITV2 spin-off show, the singer revealed he may not be returning for a second series.

"It's going to be sad to leave the show at the weekend but we'll see what happens next year. I've not committed to another year, no one's spoken to me yet, so we'll just see what happens," Olly said.

"I might concentrate on the music, or we might do both again, we'll see. Depending on the music, we might not do music next year, we'll just see."

The Please Don't Let Me Go singer, who performed at the re-opening of Nando's Bullring in Birmingham, added: "I'm not sure really. I think it's been brilliant for me, it really has. It's showcased my personality and people I think have really enjoyed me, it's a real positive.

"I don't think that doing a second show will hamper me in any way, but I just want the music to continue to do well and the fact that it has done very well, it's given me a lot of positives. So fingers crossed, we'll see what happens."

And Olly - whose second album topped the charts this week - insisted he doesn't know if co-host Caroline and One Direction singer Harry Styles are dating.

"I don't know the ins and outs of it. Me and Caroline work on a professional level on The X Factor, we just get on really well as mates, I don't know what's going on in her private life."

The former X Factor contestant also said while he enjoyed flirting with his co-presenter, it wouldn't go any further.

"We're just really good mates," he added.

I think he has doing a very good job

Why dont they perform with their mentors instead Gary with Marcus, Tulisa with Little Mix and Amelia with Kelly

IRISH crooners Westlife have been added to the impressive bill of star guests for this weekend's final.
They will join Coldplay, Leona Lewis and Michael Buble for the showdown sing-off – along with JLS and One Direction.

The lads have agreed to the gig as part of a slew of "final" dates ahead of their planned break-up next year.

Bosses are also hoping to sign up Mariah Carey as well after Adele pulled out but a source said: "We haven't managed it yet. Watch this space."

There's no doubt it is going to be one of the TV events of the year.

A massive 16million-plus viewers are expected to tune in to this weekend's final, which is being staged at Wembley Arena in front of 10,000 screaming fans.

'X Factor' Amelia, Marcus, Little Mix 'to duet with mentors at final'

The X Factor finalists will duet with their mentors on this weekend's live final, it has been claimed.

Amelia Lily, Little Mix and Marcus Collins will reportedly take to the stage on Saturday with Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow respectively.

According to The Mirror, Lily and Rowland will sing Tina Turner's 'River Deep, Mountain High', while Little Mix and Contostavlos will perform a medley of Alicia Keys's 'If I Ain't Got You' and 'Empire State Of Mind'.

Collins and Barlow are said to still be undecided on their duet track, but have been rehearsing a number of songs, including Take That's 'Never Forget' and 'Greatest Day'.

"It's going to be more pressured than ever," an insider said. "The acts will be singing in front of 10,000 people - and with their mentors.

"The judges will be nervous as well because the song could be the difference between winning and losing.

"And on top of that, Simon Cowell will be watching from LA. So the judges are almost auditioning for their places on next year's show as well."

Coldplay, Leona Lewis, Michael Bublé, JLS, One Direction and Westlife have been confirmed to perform on this year's finale, which is being held live at Wembley Arena.

The X Factor final starts on Saturday at 8pm on ITV1.

X Factor fans have been told they will not be able to vote by text for this weekend's final, which is expected to feature the finalists performing with their mentors
Text votes returned to the show only two months ago after an absence of several years.
But now show bosses have confirmed there will be no more of the 35p-a-time votes for the final, which is reported to see judges Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow singing with their acts.
It's been suspended due to the shorter cut-off period for votes, which mean any delays on mobile networks could entail thousands of wasted messages.
Text voting was suspended in 2007 after a number of problems with phone votes during live TV shows. But it returned in October and has been in place since then, including last weekend's semi-final.
However a message on the X Factor website confirmed there will be no texts for the final, featuring Marcus Collins, Amelia Lily and girl group Little Mix.
X Factor bosses explained: "Because The X Factor final includes a vote 'freeze' and therefore a shorter vote period, it is not possible for text voting to be offered, as delays can be experienced within the mobile networks at busy times which could result in text votes not being received within the period the vote is open."
Voting has caused problems for the hit ITV1 talent show in the past.
During the 2005 X Factor final, 13.9% of votes cast by red button and text arrived too late to be included, although it did not affect the outcome of the show. A 2007 report by auditors Deloitte found "serious technical issues" with red button and text voting in a number of ITV shows.
This year's competition will end with performances by Coldplay, Leona Lewis, JLS and One Direction.
