Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh have been given their X Factor categories ahead of the Judges' Houses stage of the ITV1 reality show.

The judges have flown out with eight acts each and must pick their four favourites for the live rounds, which will kick off in the autumn.

Louis Walsh has missed out on the popular Boys and Girls categories for the seventh time, landing the Over 25s, who haven't had a winner since Steve Brookstein in series one.

Walsh has flown out to Barcelona, with Sinitta as his co-mentor, to try to find his first winning act since Shayne Ward in the second series.

Kelly Rowland has been given the Girls for her first series as a judge and will be hosting the acts at her 'home' in Miami.

Tulisa Contostavlos is tasked with finding the first ever Groups winner and will be hoping one of her acts can go one better than runners-up JLS and G4.

Gary Barlow is expected to team up with his Take That bandmate Robbie Williams in LA as he starts mentoring the Boys category.

The X Factor continues on ITV1 at 8pm every Saturday.

Jessie J will reportedly appear as a mentor on The X Factor during the Judges' Houses stage of the competition.

The 'Do It Like A Dude' singer will join N-Dubz star and new judge Tulisa Contostavlos in Greece later this month to help finalise her category for the live shows.

Show boss Simon Cowell, who wanted Jessie J to perform on last year's X Factor final, is said to have intervened to get her involved.

A source told The Sun: "He's keen for her to sing on the show."

Beyoncé will apparently join Kelly Rowland in Miami, while Louis Walsh is said to be livid after Adele, who he'd asked to join him in Barcelona, was replaced with Sinitta as a mentor.

The X Factor judges are reportedly embroiled in a feud which has split the panel in two.

N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos and veteran judge Louis Walsh have become close and vowed to help each other during the live shows.

The pair regularly spend time together backstage and have combined their names to be known as "Louisa", The Mirror reports.

Meanwhile, Kelly Rowland and Gary Barlow apparently keep to themselves, leading to "all out war" as the two camps struggle to find common ground.

Contostavlos said: "Do you see the divide? Me and Louis - and Kelly and Gary. The youngest and the oldest judges are like the naughty schoolkids."

A source added: "Basically Louis and Tulisa laugh a lot and mess around and Kelly and Gary are there for the music and are more serious.

"They are coming on the show from different viewpoints and for different reasons and that is splitting the panel down the middle. It hasn't flared up in front of the cameras just yet - but it is getting worse and will come to a head on the live shows."

Jessie J will allegedly help Contostavlos at Judges' Houses in Greece, while Beyoncé is rumoured to be joining Rowland in Miami.

The X Factor will reportedly feature an Amy Winehouse tribute week during its live shows later this year.

Simon Cowell is said to have planned for contestants to honour the late 'Back To Black' singer and her "amazing talent" by performing her hits during the competition's final stages, The Mirror reports.

"[Simon] felt it was only right for X Factor to honour Amy," a show source revealed.

"She epitomises everything the show is about - a normal person with an amazing voice who will be remembered as a British music icon for ever."

Last year's series of The X Factor featured weeks dedicated to Elton John and The Beatles.

Winehouse, who passed away on July 23 at the age of 27, was believed to be an avid fan of The X Factor.

The X Factor continues next Saturday at 8.15pm on ITV1.

You're spot on Tammy - it was such an impersonation of Adele, we have absolutely no idea what the girl's "real" voice is like - the tears were a joke! And as for putting the anorexic, bleach blond ageing rocker through - what was that all about? Other tuneless contestants have been told it's a singing competition, but for him it was, essentially, "your singing was rubbish - FOUR YES'S!"

Jennifer Hudson will reportedly aide Kelly Rowland during the Judges' Houses stage of The X Factor.

It was previously claimed that 'OMG' star Usher had been approached to join Rowland, helping her to choose which four members of her category to take through to the live shows.

Usher, who has performed on the ITV1 series, was said to be a fan of the show, as well as getting on well with Syco boss Simon Cowell.

However, while The Sun claims that the 32-year-old had to cancel at the last minute, a spokeswoman for the star told Digital Spy that he was "never" involved due to being busy working on a new album.

Hudson rose to fame on the 2004 series of American Idol, and went on to win an Oscar for her role in Dreamgirls.

The X Factor continues Saturday at 8.15pm on ITV1.
