That's on my bookshelf to read.

I've finished Genesis by Karin Slaughter, one of my favourite authors. Its a brilliant read, I couldn't put it down.

Not sure what the next book is, can't see the bookshelf from my position in bed.
    Thanks CrazyLea

I read the Lost Symbol last November, I got it for my birthday from my sons. Hubby was reading it over the Christmas hols and left it at the hotel when he had only a few pages left to go.

My book club started up again last night, and the first book we are going to read is Room by Emma Donoghue. It is the story of a girl kept as a prisoner for years in an adapted garden shed, she has her captors son and the story is narrated by five year old Jack. I started it this morning and it reads well - the reviews have been terrific, too.

I am also reading about the 1916 uprising in Ireland, and some Keats poems as background to an essay I have to write on the invention of tradition in Ireland.

As you know I got an e-reader for christmas.. it is really good and I did find a site with pdf books but I am wondering if anyone can recommend where I can get epub books? Is kindle epub or something different.. appreciate your help on this as the pdf site I use, although good, doesn't have a certain book I am looking for...

Failing that.. anyone know where I can get pfd or epub S.E Hinton The outsiders book?

There's a great piece of free software that I use called Calibre http://calibre-ebook.com/ which will convert ebooks to different formats. I've recently used it to convert pdfs to epub very successfully. There were some errors but I'm not sure if they were in the original pdf or not.

Kindle books are in the mobi format, and Calibre will convert to this as well.

It will also sync to your ebook reader.

It probably won't work if the books you want to convert have DRM on them though
