I watched that last night and Simon took the card of her to have a double check.. I think (maybe wrong here) but no other winner of the X factor has been that many weeks as the highest public votes.. every week except the 1st week... Matt is truly the most deserving winner from those facts above

i am glad matt won, purely because i didnt want cheryl to be smug and get her three victorys in a row. and anyhow, Rebecca is bound to make it with all her talent.

I wouldn't have minded Cheryl winning if Cher and Katie deserved their place on the live shows, but they didn't and with their behaviour off stage just annoyed me more each week. I'm so glad Matt won. He had it in the bag week 2. The best X factor winner.

Did you also see on the Xtra Factor all the judges had Gamu to win on their secret predictions at boot camp!! The look on Cheryl's face when that was revealed

That was classic. Serves them. I hope Gamu and Aiden do get record deals before Cher. That will really run Ms Cole's nose in it.

Well that is what I think disgusted her.. she could have had Gamu in her group and she could have one but she dumped her for Katie (who by the figures above had only one good week)

Well done Matt he really had no competition he was the man to beat from the start

Interesting that TreyC, Paije and Mary would have stayed if taken to deadlock so I'd think Simon knew the bottom votes before the show

Of course he did. It's his show He's head boss. He knew what the votes were each week.

I think the sing off in the Semi proved that... Cher was on the chopping block... Same block that had Louis vote Paije out when it was Cher's turn to leave...
