No I think the judges vote right up to the finale, but usually there is only three acts in the finale but i bet Mr Cowell moves the goal posts to ensure that himself or Cheryl's act makes it into the finale. At present the strongest acts are Matt, Mary and Rebecca the other four are in danger.

Another week, another X Factor controversy it seems as yet another good singer is sent packing whilst Brazilian karate master Wagner lives another day.

This weekend's drama saw Paije Richardson eliminated, leaving his mentor Dannii Minogue fuming.

She branded the result 'outrageous', adding: "It feels *******. I cannot tell you how bad I feel."

Paije however has taken his exit with dignity, telling ITV show Daybreak this morning that he has no ill feelings towards Wagner.

"I do feel a little bit sorry for him because people are blaming him for being in there - he doesn't vote himself in there," said Richardson. "But he is trying his best and it's his dream as much as it's mine or anyone else's."

Wagner was in less modest of moods, comparing himself to the soldiers with whom he performed the X Factor charity single on Sunday nights results show.

Speaking after the show last night, Wagner is quoted as saying: "We have here tonight the British soldiers who are true heroes and a soldier like a Samurai is always ready for the worst."

Next week's X Factor live show, which will last nearly two hours, kicks off on Saturday at 7.45pm on ITV1.
I think the theme next week is Rock

I though paije was brilliant on saturday, hopefully that wont be the last we see of him.

Cher was hopeless, when she did stay, the with of stay with me was soo off key every time! and is it just me or is it the fact she sung that suggest she assumed she were safe and hadnt prepared a sing off song and she hardly dressed up for the occasion. She really cannot take criticism that girl, and i think that she thins that she is a lot better than she actually is.

What I thought was unusual about Cher sing off on Sunday night is that with all the hype about her being unique with her ability to rap and Cheryl letting her rap through almost everyweek she choose to sing s a slow song. If rap is her thing why didn't she do that. was she that confident that the judges would save her that she didn't give a toss. If it had went to deadlock she would have got the fewest votes and her and Katie need a miracle if they want to avoid the sing off this weekend.

She did Stay (as she got great comments from the judges when she sang it first and I dont think she thought she'd be in the bottom) and murdered it this time around - Paije was way better

On Digital Spy forum it mentions that during the break Louis was heard asking producers could be take it to deadlock and was told no so if this is true they knew Cher got the least votes and wanted to keep her

I want Matt to win but I dont like his attitude to Wagner who in fairness to him is not voting for himself he has a fanbase and while he is not good he is fun

Cheryl showed what a chav she really is by tackling him about a newspaper article yet she claims dont believe what you hear in the press

I can understand that Matt and others may be fed up at Wagner still being in the competiton. It's supposed to be a singing compettion not a lets humilating competiton but Mr Cowell can't sit there on a Saturday night and ridicule Wagner in the name of entertainment. I think Wagner's singing is mince but he putting in the hard work to his performances so he deserves his place. He has a fan base he's getting the votes and avoiding the sing off, which can't be said for two of Ms Cole's acts. If Wagner avoids the sing off again on Sunday, which I think he will. Cher or Katie have to go as they are the only ones who have been in the sing off.

I agree the only three decent singers are Matt, Mary and Rebecca. When it comes to the other four Wagner has the biggest fan base and the better chance of surviving longer in the competiton than Katie, Cher and One Direction.

Simon wants One Direction or one of the Cheryl's acts to win this year so I'm sure he will do all he can to make this happen

I like to see Mary, Matt and Rebecca in the final or maybe even Wagner

Cheryl's attack on Wagner has even gained him more fans so he could be around for a few more weeks

Surely there has to be double or even triple eliminations soon enough as there is 7 contestants left
