Pat and Harvey are getting on like a house on fire but he's thrown when Pat mentions that Peggy's due to return from her break later that day. Rushing out, Harvey hands Pat a parting gift - a set of cheap earrings. Pat isn't best pleased when she discovers the receipt. Across the Square, Peggy wanders into The Vic and soon learns that Ben's now living with Ian. Harvey arrives and feigns surprise at Peggy's sudden return, before handing over a pair of expensive earrings. He also hands over a pair of theatre tickets but Peggy lies that she has a family commitment and so can't attend. Turning to Pat, Harvey offers her the tickets instead and she happily agrees. After a call from Peggy, Pat heads over to The Vic, where Peggy makes a shock revelation - she's found another lump.
Meanwhile, Fatboy arranges a road trip to his uncle's house in Hampshire. With a party on the cards, Peter feels he should go but worries that the event's so close to exam period. After Lucy fakes a school note about a 'revision trip', Peter hands the letter to Ian, who reluctantly agrees that they can attend. Fatboy picks Peter and Lucy up from the house and Lucy's surprised to realise that Zsa Zsa and Whitney are also going. Lucy attempts to make amends with Zsa Zsa over lying about the miscarriage but Zsa Zsa doesn't care. Her interest in exacting revenge on Leon, however, is piqued when she hears Lucy reiterate Leon's belief that he could have her back in an instant.
Furious about Leon's supposed attitude, Whitney's further enraged when Lucy reveals that he compared her to kissing a dead fish. Determined to attend the party with the boys, the girls remove the tyres from Fatboy's van and refuse to hand them back unless they can tag along. Later, the gang arrive at Fatboy's uncle's desolate cottage, where nobody has a signal on their phones.
Elsewhere, Carol hands Bianca and Ricky a letter from the education authority about Liam's schooling appeal - it's on Wednesday; Billie sits watching an old video message of Whitney on his phone but Carol tries to take his mind off the situation; Carol organises a practice appeal panel for Bianca, who crumbles under pressure; and Billie's upset to learn that Whitney's left for Hampshire with the rest of the gang.
Lucy's on a mission to destroy Leon but her plan requires the help of Zsa Zsa and Whitney. With the girls agreed on their course of action, they set to work. Mercy returns to the Square and attempts to call Fatboy, to no avail. With Billie having a similar problem with Whitney's phone and Mercy having overheard that they're at Fatboy's uncle's house in Hampshire, the pair soon head out into the country. Lucy suggests that the group go camping in the woods instead of arranging a party but Leon's the only guy up for it. Peter and Fatboy head off to the party instead. Leon and the girls play drinking games around the campfire and Whitney's a little thrown when she finds a battered doll nearby. Jealous of how close Leon is with Zsa Zsa, Lucy asks him to help collect more fire wood.
As Zsa Zsa heads into the woods to relieve herself, a scream echoes through and Leon panics about her safety. Zsa Zsa rushes back to camp with her hands covered in blood, insisting that there's something in the woods that tried to attack her. Terrified at the prospect of something or someone lurking in the woods, Leon bolts from the scene. The girls return to the cottage, leaving Leon wandering the woods alone. Whitney's further agitated, though, when she discovers the same battered doll on the welcome mat. Fatboy and Peter arrive at the party and are dragged away by two girls but Fatboy's interrupted by Mercy.
Later, Lucy heads out into the woods to meet Leon and admits that Zsa Zsa came up with the idea to scare him. Lucy tries to seduce him but Leon's not interested. Unimpressed that he spurned her advances, Lucy runs off into the night with their only torch. At the party, Fatboy's panicked when he realises that Peter's become embroiled in a fight with a girl's boyfriend, Vince. Billie steps in to break up the fight, allowing Fatboy, Peter and Mercy to get away. Fatboy's too drunk to drive and Peter takes the wheel, while Billie's forced to leave his moped behind. As Lucy returns to the cottage, Leon limps into the road. Peter, however, takes his eyes off the road for a second - and there's suddenly a loud thud against the van's bodywork…
Elsewhere, Pat's determined to persuade Peggy to attend the breast clinic but she's surprised to learn that Peggy already has an appointment; Bianca's nervous as she's introduced to the appeal panel; Pat and Peggy head into town together; Ricky takes Bianca outside for a drink to calm her nerves; Peggy's jubilant to have been given the all-clear at the clinic - the lump's nothing to worry about; Ricky suggests that Bianca think of all the panellists sat on a toilet; Peggy phones Harvey and reveals that she can now attend the theatre with him; Bianca manages to talk to the panel with confidence and she's delighted to hear that they'll learn the outcome within the week; and Harvey states that he can no longer attend himself, but undeterred, Peggy calls the theatre to book a ticket herself.
