I heard the actress, who plays Sally, say in a chat show that she is in Emmerdale until May, so I think we shall be seeing more of her yet.

Meanwhile, Emmerdale's queen Dingle Lisa's left crushed (not literally) in a few weeks' time when she's sentenced to eight weeks' imprisonment following the ordeal with the police last month.

For those who can't remember, she punched an officer, before being arrested for assault and possession of stolen goods.

(She actually thought the police were trying to arrest Olena for being an illegal immigrant...)

How will the Dingles cope without her?

These scenes air on Tuesday, March 16 at 7pm on ITV1.

Struggling to cope, Cain eventually softens when Charity convinces him that their daughter will soon return home.

Elsewhere, Doug's shocked when Natasha reveals that she's had a customer complaint complain about him.

When she reveals the female customer wants him to be dismissed for making lewd remarks, Doug and Leyla are baffled.

Zak tentatively breaks the news about Lisa to Belle and insists that they need to stay strong. How will the Dingles cope without Lisa?

Meanwhile, Nicola gives Anya's vegetarianism short shrift and feeds her spaghetti Bolognese.

Later, Carl explodes when Anya reveals that she was tricked into eating meat. Chas guiltily interrupts their row with a homeless Shadrach in tow.

Meanwhile, Laurel and Ashley rush to the church when they hear the bells ringing. Sally remains hidden inside and overhears Laurel discussing going away the following night.

When Laurel and Ashley leave, Sally lights a candle and threateningly burns the picture of Ashley that she stole from Mulberry. What is Sally plotting?

While Ashley takes a phone call, Sally takes the opportunity to make tea. However, when he isn't looking, Sally's face hardens and she slyly drops some tablets into his drink...
