I think Bradley did killed himself to save Stacey i assume she told him she killed Archie up in her room and thats why he told her run (btw i'm surprised Marsden hasnt questioned Stacey yet)

He knew Stacey wouldnt let him go down for Archie's murder (well i think she wouldnt anyways) and he didnt want to face a lifetime in prison or a lifetime for Stacey in prison

That's actually the first time I've heard a convincing argument for why he'd kill himself. It does make sense that he would want to save Stacey from spending years in prison.

The trouble is that it really did look like he fell and there's been no reference to him committing suicide, so I'm sure it was accidental.

Well it was his head that hit the ground.. if it has been his legs or arms, they would be very broken but his head was smashed so yes, it would kill him
