Felt terrible today so my boyfriend rung that pandemic flu line number and I had majority of symptoms, so he was given a code so he could go collect the Tamiflu's from a local pharmacy.

    It's awful, just awful!!
Aww, hope you are feeling better very quickly. Get the boyfriend to spoil you and look after you

I was offered a vacination as people with asthma are on the priority list.
Not sure if I did the right thing, but I declined

    He has been doing.

But as for getting better quickly, that don't seem to be happening. I feel worse today.

Can I ask why you declined it?

We had an email going round Uni from the doctor with a list of things that if you were classed as or had you could have the vacination

A child who was diagnosed with swine flu last week has died, the Public Health Agency of Northern Ireland has confirmed.

The child, who attended a special needs school, was one of two people diagnosed with swine flu.

The PHA said children who attend schools for those with severe learning difficulties should receive the flu vaccine as soon as possible.

It said that there is no evidence that the flu is circulating widely, but warned that it is not possible to predict when this may happen. It urged those eligible to get immunised as soon as possible.

This year's flu vaccine protects against three strains of flu, including the strain H1N1, known as swine flu.

Twenty people died from swine flu in Northern Ireland during last year's outbreak.

A recent report in the Lancet medical journal said that 70 children in England died from swine flu between June 2009 and March 2010.
