btw do you get acess to the internet anywhere anytime for free with the i phone? that would be perfect for a facebook whore like me!
Unlimited internet access included in the £34. They have a cool Facebook App that is really easy to use, too

I do not have the very, very latest phone, though. But I am really happy with the one I have, and it is fab if you get lost - you can pull up a map and it shows you where you are, lol. Excellent for a rubbish map reader like me!
i wondered if you'd be charged for using the apps like Maps etc. I know you have to pay to get certain apps, but once they are there you dont have to keep paying do you? I presume if you exceed your phone/text limit you just pay the extra to 02 when your bill comes?

The only extra I have had to pay so far is for phone numbers starting 08 (i.e. my bank and scottish gas, honestly!).

Some apps are free, others range in price from £0.59 - £5.99, with the vast majority being around £1 -£2.

You don't have to pay again.

The iPhone is coming to Vodafone and Orange. You can register interest with Vodafone on their website, it's out early next year. Not sure when Orange is bringing it out.

    Vodafone

    Orange

Think I might get one myself if it's not ridiculously expensive. Hopefully with three providers in the market, the price should come down a bit.

for those who have the iphone, what size capicity one did you buy? see i know that i have A LOT of music, and my main concern would be that if i put too much music on there it will slow the phone down or make it crash, as i've heard i phones are tempromental at the best of times???

IPhone 3G and 3GS handsets will be available to Orange customers from 10 November, marking the end of a two- year exclusive deal with operator O2.

Orange said it would offer the handset to pay as you go, pay monthly and business customers.

Customers taking out 24 month contracts worth £30 or £45 a month will get the handset for free.

The Orange tariffs are very similar to O2. The cheapest 24 month contract is £34.26, compared with £29.36 with O2.

Tesco Mobile is to stock the iPhone 3GS and 3G before Christmas, the supermarket giant has revealed.

Tesco Mobile, a virtual operator on O2’s network, has bagged the iPhone 3GS, and while a release date has yet to be announced, the pre-register landing page is already live.

The supermarket chain also revealed that the device will be available on both PAYG and pay monthly.
