Feeling the way you do, I think you should go and see the doctor, he might be able to help in another way or could help speed up you seeing a councillor. I hope you feel better soon xx

Tannie, you should definitely see the doctor.

You should also make sure that you are eating properly, getting enough sleep, drinking plenty of water and getting outside for a a walk when it is daylight. Sometimes the simple things can help.

How is college going? Are you managing to keep on top of everything? Is the panic under control?

Do not be too hard on yourself either, you may have a viral infection of another illness that is making you feel low.

    Take care

Sleeping's hard for me at the moment has been since the summer holidays . Eating i'm fine with and same with drinking water. I'm going for walks during the day anyway cause i normally get off the bus in rosyth after college and walk home. Or walk to tesco from college and get the bus to the rail way station and walk home.

College is my worst nightmare at the moment. Modern studies is becoming my worst nightmare is well . Spoke to my guidance tutor and she said she wasn't sure if i could do another subject instead of it cause of how long we've been into college for. But i'm not sure i can't drop it or i wouldn't have enough hours. So i don't know what's happening on that front. I had a panic attack in Guided study this morning and managed to calm myself down myself before anyone noticed luckily. I was all up for dropping out of college yesterday but my gran's made me see that i'm not a quitter so i'm not going to do that.

You are so right not to quit. It might be tough for a while but it is worth it.

Can you get a revision book for modern studies from WHSmiths? The leckie ones are quite good and really summarise the work well. It is worth doing a bit of extra work at home to keep on top of things, too.

I remember having a total mental block about physics when I was at school. I got a revision book and learned all the formula off by heart and after that I was fine.

Modern studies is quite different, I know, but put in a bit of extra work and see how it goes.

Good luck and well done on beating the panic - the more often you do that the more confident you will feel.

    Take care

Tannie - I really hope your feeling a whole lot better soon. Seeing a doctor and telling him/her how you feel will definetly help. It's no good keeping things bottled up, as you'll just feel more frustrated inside. Remember that you can always post in this thread and have a rant as well!

Whenever I am feeling really down and I do go through phases where I feel awful, walking definetly helps me. There's nothing better than breathing in some fresh air and getting some physical exercise!

As for college, it's good that you haven't given up. Try and keep determined and positive about it and you will do your very best. I echo what Trinity said about maybe getting a revision book from WH Smiths as I hear that they can be really useful. Also, could you possibly speak to your tutor? Maybe they can help you if you feel like it's getting on top of you.

As for my day, I've done some ironing for the first time! and my mum was impressed with me. Also accessed my timetable for lectures and I got some passport photos done.

I've had a busy day in officer training then went campaigns collective meeting. There's a few protests coming up in Manchester and London in the next month. I think I'll just go to the one in Manchester, I don't know where I stand on the Stop the War protest.

Shower and bed methinks. I don't think my brain has had to work this hard since April

Oh my ow! My throat is starting to feel all closed up it hurts when I eat!

Also... I am so flipping confused right now it's not even funny!!
Got called into work as another waitress bailed, so when I got there Adam was all snappy and was liek "I'm not in the mood today" so I asked why, and he said "I don't wnat to talk about it today, we'll talk about it another day" I asked if it was work and he said it wasn't just work this time... so I got all paranoid thinking maybe I'd annoyed him or something.
Then I asked him againa nd I asked why he couldn't tell me, and he said "because it's deep personal stuff, if I told why.. I would just be telling you"... so he's going to tell me.. but not yet. Grr I'm confused! If I've annoyed him in any way I'd rather jsut know! Not have him messing with my head.. he's done that enough lately!
