I am sorry, I laughed when I read the first sentance of your post - what will you be like when you are a little old lady if you are so grumpy now!

I hope that you fell better soon, though

Kirsty you are right to look for another job, the sooner the better, lol

I have to agree with Abigail on this one.. we have a few in my area who think that my back wall is the best place to kick a football at til 12 at night.. I had to tell them to go as I was trying to get the kids to sleep...

Kirsty - I don't think your selfish. We all need to think about ourselves once in a while and it seems to me that you will be doing the right thing.

Trying to keep myself busy today - putting songs on my iphone, might start packing, started reading for my course now as well so I feel like I'm on top of things after freshers.

My mum's cutting my hair later. Got a bit too long again

All day Saturday, all day Sunday and yesterday when they came in from school for a few hours they were kicking a football at the wall and window. There's plenty of places to kick a football around, including a football sized piece of grass outside my window and the park across the road.

I have no problem with them playing, I just don't want to hear the constant thud against my window.

I guess I am lucky, no one around here would dream of kicking a football against someone elses house.

    At 12 pm!!!

    Where are their parents?

Who knows... I think I am the only parent to give a damn where my kids are at in my area. There is a 4 year old across from me who informed me the other day I wasn't the boss of her and proceed to tell everyone to **** off...

    OMG!

In my street I can stop kids and say, don't do that again it is dangerous or whatever and they just don't do it again.

If I am in a strop about something I might say, 'if you do that again I will tell your mum'

I have not had any of them come back with cheek.

The majority of the people/kids are really nice but there is just some who bring the place down. this little girl in particular.. and as she is the same ages as Ben, they are usually together.. but even Ben is getting annoyed with her now... she swears, runs off and throws a wobbler if she doesn't get her own way. Her most recent thing is getting Ben in trouble.. so I try not to let him be around her but they are only 4 years old so there is not much that can be done (can't even talk to the parents cause they don't care)

Uni is going well, I think. Off home next Thursday afternoon though. I don't have any lectures/practicals on Monday or Friday next week! It changes every week though but on most days - apart from the ones where we have half an hour graduate development classes I finish by 4. Although I only have about three sessions a day! So surprised at that! I need to go to the library and print my timetable out though...

I'm having one night on one night off this Fresher's week lol (as in drinking). A flatmate has some friends in tonight and they are getting drunk playing spoons. I did sit in there for a bit but they seem to be getting into it and I have an early start so I'll watch House (yay!) then go to bed.
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.
