IMHO this updated version is rubbish. They should have left it as it was. It sounds to me like they've actually shortened the theme tune? It doesn't sound as long as it is usually, to me, anyway!!

i remember them mentioning it on a documentary once they tried to jazz it up:

but it was awful and they changed it back. god it sounds like the music to some cheesy old school porn film.

It doesn't bother me what they look like, its usually already started by the time I switch over anyway lol
