Come on Perdy he has deserved a pasting for a long long time after all his disgraceful behaviour - and the character is a villian and everyone likes to see a villian get their come uppance

There are other and probably more effective ways for villains to get their comeuppance than beating them to a pulp.

Come on Perdy, live in the real world, if someone was behaving like him, he would be dead, very badly injured, or in prison for a very long time, - He tried to kill his mother, wrecked his sister's marriage, tormented his Gran, the list is endless for all the bad things he as done.

He is nothing but a slimey piece of work, who would not last long, in my neighbourhood.

I agree that he is a very bad penny, to say the least, but I would not want a real criminal to be left for dead either, I want them to be punished, just not in that way. David needs psychiatric help, not a beating imo.
