Transformers tough guy Josh Duhamel has lashed out at blogger Perez Hilton for attacking his wife Fergie in "hateful" online stories.

The actor was promoting the Transformers sequel in Los Angeles on Monday and decided to use the high-profile event to take aim at Hilton, who was allegedly attacked in Canada on Sunday by the Black Eyed Peas manager after Fergie confronted the blogger in a club.

Reports suggest the London Bridge singer approached Hilton to ask him why he was so nasty about her online.

And her husband admits he's still furious about Hilton's attacks on his wife: "It makes me angry; she doesn't deserve that, she works very hard.

"He's (Hilton) become rich off of saying hateful things about people and sometimes people get what they deserve, I guess."

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick have revealed that they are "over the moon" following the birth of their surrogate twins.

The Sex And The City star and her husband welcomed twin daughters Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge at a hospital in Ohio on Monday afternoon.

In a statement, the couple said: "The babies are doing beautifully and the entire family is over the moon."

Their publicist added that Marion weighed 5lbs 11oz and Tabitha weighed 6lbs, and that "both Hodge and Elwell are family names on Parker's side".

Parker and Broderick, who married in 1997, are already parents to six-year-old James.

Former Dad's Army star Colin Bean has died at the age of 82.

The actor, who played Private Sponge in the long-running show, passed away at Wigan Infirmary on Saturday, says BBC News.

He had been living at the Wickham Hall Care Home in Springfield until his death.

Bean made his last public appearance at a 40th anniversary celebration for Dad's Army at the Thetford Dad's Army Museum last year. He had been the club's patron for many years.

His autobiography Who Do You Think You Are Kidding? was published in 1998 and has run into three editions.

ROD STEWART’s ex-wife RACHEL HUNTER has been dumped by her toyboy sweetheart — less than two months before they were due to wed.

Ice hockey star JARRET STOLL stunned the former model by walking out without even saying the reason.

He told guests by email that the star-studded ceremony on August 14 was cancelled, but still gave no explanation.

Last night a source close to Rachel said: “She is absolutely devastated. Everything was in place for their wedding — she had the venue, the designer dress, the guest list.

“She has absolutely no idea why Jarret has done this. It sounds like it could be a classic case of cold feet. He is a fair bit younger than her.”

The Los Angeles Kings player turns 27 today while Kiwi Rachel will be 40 in September.

Rachel, who has two children with Rod, also wanted to start a new family.

Her daughter Renee, 17, and son Liam, 14, are said to be “in pieces” at the break-up — especially Liam who is a keen ice hockey player.

Canadian Jarret proposed last August.

He and Rachel bought a £2.2million home in Hermosa Beach, California, and were due to tie the knot in front of guests including MICHELLE PFEIFFER and SHARON STONE.

Rachel married singer Rod in 1990. They separated nine years later but their divorce was not formalised until 2006.

The pair are still friends.

In April, Fawcett was hospitalised for internal bleeding not directly related to her ongoing cancer battle. She recently learned the disease had spread to her liver and underwent chemotherapy.
