A Madge classic! Amazing song, I doubt it'll ever grow old. I love all the dance remixes to this aswell. was also number 1 the week I was born apparently! lol

Wow.. then you won't remember the one time only shown of the Madonna pepsi ad... I was glued to the tv and it was first release of this hit and it was in an ad (BANNNED)!! Love Madonna, love how she changes with the time, 80's Madonna as seen in Holiday, 90's Madonna with Vogue etc.. and 2000 Madonna with the confessions CD and working with Timberland and Justin (2 of the biggest people to work with).. Today's Madonna tune has always been a fan favourite, not the best charting of her songs but one that a lot of fans rate highly! "La Isla Bonita"

only number 4 in america, when all her others were topping the chart! think it did get to number 1 here though!

It was no 1 in UK... "La Isla Bonita" was a worldwide hit, reaching number one in various countries, including the UK, Canada, France and Germany.only number 4 in america, when all her others were topping the chart! think it did get to number 1 here though!
It started of really really slow coming in the low 70's and then climbed to no 1.

rounding off the first week of Madonna hit's is her epic ballad from the movie Evita. She stole this film with her performance, and his song just sums up why. "Dont Cry For Me Argentina"
Starting tomorrow - we visit Madonna's more recent hits!
