I'm sure Phil has refused to lend both Garry and Minty money once and they'd worked for him for a lot longer than she has; it's obvious he's going to want something out of it.

Dawn is an extremely selfish person.. I was discussing this with my sister the other day and most "normal" parents do feel some sort of guilt for spoiling themselves and will rather spend money on their children.. I don't see Dawn doing this.. as long as she has her high fashion and expensive jewelry she doesn't care.. did she not learn anything at all from Jase's death.. he went back to crime to fund HER lavish lifestyle

To be fair, she does include Summer at times though, she complained to Garry that she does not want to dress her in cast-offs from charity shops. She just likes to include herself too. She never mentions Garry though, that he could do with a new shirt or pair of jeans.

It's so unrealistic you don't see Dawn having to deal with the issues that real single mums have to do like attending inteviews with an adivsor at the job centre or talking about the price of childcare. She is all me,me, me. I know the thought of Phil and Dawn gives many of us the heeves but maybe she is not bothered as long as she is getting cash to treat herself.

she has two jobs, why would she have to go to the job centre? plus she works in a bar and pub, so that's mainly evening work when Gary or Minty or Darren are available.

I cant wait for Dawn to leave always hated the character - even wanted Mad May to kill her.

She has no love for Garry and he is a sad loser who really believes she wants him - she wants the good life and thats it so by sleeping with fat baldy Phil she thinks she will have it

Although she has two jobs they won't be great paid and technically she is a single parent but she is living with Gary as a couple is that not benefit fraud if she is claiming tax credit. It's not just EE it's all the soaps they don't reflect real life situations like redundancy.
