Not seen her recently but I read she is pretty broke, her hubby's business is suffering badly in the credit crunch times.

She was on this years hells kitchen with her husband looking pretty much the same but not so smug now little Ms perfect is almost broke

They will have hired someone at this stage with Fern leaving in a matter of weeks. They're probably sorting out contracts, hours, pay etc. before they announce it publicly.
