English exam today was ace! The second part anyway. Chose the question that said...

if you could choose anywhere, where would you most like to live? Explain your reasons.

I was like GET IN! Because me and a friend really really wanna live in Las Vegas when we're done with Uni and all that.

Section A was not so good. All morning i've been saying to my friend Kathryn, I realllllly hope the question is not on 'Not My Business' as I only realised yesterday that I hadn't done that one because I was at a college day thing when they did in class. Opened the paper and it was on that poem!! Kathryn was sat 6 seats in front of me, turned around and was laughing. I was not however! lmao. Ahh well I think i've done okay (n) but we'll see come results day; which we got letters about today and is August 20th (:

It does seem a bit late; my GCSE's were on the 21st last year and the A Levels are always the week before GCSE.

Yeah, AS and A2 results are always out a week before GCSEs to give schools and colleges time to help students sort out UCAS business.

A level results are definitely 20th and GCSE the following week.

Had a busy day. There was a little tear in my eye and a lump in my throat when I locked my door for the very last time. Went to pick my assignments up, missed out on a first (4%) because of one picture being out of focus. Hopefully I'll have done well on the sketch and it'll even out.

My lecturer wouldn't tell me the result of one of my assignments because it hasn't been verified yet. He did say it was excellent and I have absolutely nothing to worry about.

Shower and catch up with some programs in bed methinks

    Yeah...

I'm the only person who can see that getting firsts in almost everything without doing work is wrong. I've missed half the lectures, done the bare minimum for assignments and started revising a few days before for the exams. And still I come out with high grades It's not a good mentality to go through life with *shakes head*

Well done on the results Abigail you clever little bunny you. I haven't been on here for three days as I have been so busy at work I've just been so knackered when I got home I didn't have the energy to do anything. Can't wait until the 26 so I can get rid of the lecturers for 7 weeks man are they driving me crazy or what. on a happy note my friend Gill had a baby boy yesterday Xander she called him 8lb 2oz

Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx

had a really huge panic today. went on the student system to check my marks for this term. one of my module overall marks said 35 (which is a fail) and id worked out i could fail my last assignment and still pass so i thought id done really badly and only got like 5% or something! when i went on it to see my individual marks for that module i actually hadnt failed but cos one of my marks hadnt been verified it didnt count so the system thought id failed! it scared me cos the other years it normally still counts the marks even when theyre not verified

apart from that ive just been packing my stuff cos im going to brighton tomorrow

Wrong attitude, Abigail, you are fortunate to have had an educational background that allows you to understand and build on your education. It is NOT wrong to get good grades, you have worked for those grades, even if feel you might have had to work less than somebody else hat to. It is YOUR ACHIEVEMENT, nobody else's.
