Chad Lowe's girlfriend Kim Painter has given birth to their first child, it has been announced.

The former 24 star welcomed his new daughter, Mabel Painter Lowe, on Saturday.

A reprsentative for the actor told Us Weekly, "Everybody is healthy and happy."

Lowe, who divorced Hilary Swank two years ago, has been dating producer Painter since 2007.

The millionaire TV presenter has planned a marathon bash to celebrate his marriage to love Liz Davies, 39.


Edmonds, 60, has already sent out invites for the two events in July - one in the Cotswolds, the other at his £3 million pad in France.


DAY 1: The Noel's House Party star - whose TV career has made a comeback thanks to Deal Or No Deal-kicks off the celebrations at the sprawling Lower Slaughter Manor House in the Cotswolds. The do includes lunch, lawn games and a duck race, where guests race rubber ones down the river. Revellers will then enjoy a casino night.
DAY 2: Noel weds Liz at noon in a civil ceremony at the 17th century hotel. Then it's a blessing at a nearby church, before a reception back at the hotel.
DAY 3: After break, celebrations move to Noel's home in the South of France. Drinks will be followed by a barbecue and Caribbean-themed party in the evening.
DAY 4: There will be buffet lunch before a SECOND wedding blessing in the afternoon.

Noel proposed to Liz in December after dating for two years. It will be marriage No 3 for the star.

Brian McFadden and Delta Goodrem have announced that they are postponing their wedding due to increased work commitments.

The couple originally planned to tie the knot at Christmas after becoming engaged in November 2007.

However, McFadden has now told The Sunday Telegraph: "We were sitting down to try to organise the wedding and we were thinking: 'We're never going to get this wedding organised by Christmas'.

"I know if we don't get married, everyone is going to say there are problems because we pushed the wedding back. But we want to get married and take a nice block of time off, like three months, enjoy our families being there and have a nice honeymoon - not get married between gigs.''

McFadden recently signed up to present a second series of Aussie reality show Football Superstar. He is also said to be making plans for a new music project.

Meanwhile, Goodrem has been working on the follow-up to her third album Delta, which was released in 2007.

The pair started dating in 2004 following McFadden's split from I'm A Celebrity winner Kerry Katona.

KEVIN BACON had to take matters into his own hands after a thief mugged him in New York.
The Footloose actor gave chase after the man grabbed his Blackberry at Seventh Avenue subway station in Manhattan.

However, he lost the criminal and had to enlist the help of the New York Police Department.

Bacon is currently travelling the US with his band, The Bacon Brothers.

The mugger has yet to be apprehended.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor is "doing fine" after being admitted to hospital in Los Angeles on Saturday.

Taylor's spokesman Dick Guttman said that the 77-year-old entered the facility as a matter of routine and insisted that she was well enough to inform fans about her progress via Twitter.

Guttman confirmed that the star would return home "soon" but failed to provide details of why she had required medical attention.

In an interview with People magazine, he dismissed recent reports claiming that Taylor was in ill health as "dramatic, overstated and untrue" and added that she was "living her life" and "having dinner with friends".

Taylor has the brittle bone disease osteoporosis as a result of breaking her back five times. She underwent a hip replacement in 1995 and had surgery to remove a brain tumour in 1997.

The actress, who was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in 1999, has won Oscars for her roles in both Butterfield 8 and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?.

Danielle Lloyd was taken to hospital early yesterday morning after she was involved in an altercation at a central London nightclub.

The model was allegedly attacked by two women at the Crystal venue and was said to have been thrown onto a table of drinks, the Daily Mail reports.

Photographs showed the 25-year-old lying on the pavement covered in blood before the ambulance arrived.

A spokesman for Lloyd said: "Danielle sustained a serious wound to her back which required stitches upon arrival at hospital. The injury to her leg is more serious.

"Danielle had been socialising with six friends, including her boyfriend Jamie O'Hara, when the unprovoked attack occurred at around 2.30am."

He added: "An ambulance was called and Mr O'Hara awaited its arrival outside before travelling with Miss Lloyd to the hospital."

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that two women had been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and bailed until July.

Earlier this month, Lloyd was involved in another nightclub incident at Funkymojoe bar in South Woodford, where she was allegedly punched in a brawl over her footballer boyfriend.

Mike Tyson's four-year-old daughter is in a critical condition after an accident on a treadmill.

Exodus Tyson was found by her seven-year-old brother with a cord around her neck, which had been hanging from the exercise machine.

The incident occurred at the family home in Phoenix, Arizona on Monday morning.

Police sergeant Andy Hill told Fox news: "Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there's a cord that hangs under the console - it's kind of a loop.

"Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it."

He also insisted that there was nothing suspicious about the events, describing the incident as a "tragic accident".

Exodus's mother took off the cable after her brother raised the alarm. She was then taken to St Joseph's Hospital in central Phoenix, where she has been registered as critical and placed on life support.

According to The AP, Tyson was in Las Vegas at the time but flew back to Arizona as soon as he was informed of events.

Former boxer Mike Tyson is praying for his young daughter's life after she was found unconscious and hanging from a treadmill cord.

Four-year-old Exodus is in a critical condition in St. Joseph's Hospital in Arizona after her seven-year-old brother found her choking on the power cable of gym equipment at the Tyson family home.

Paramedics were called to the scene, where they attempted to resuscitate the youngster.

She remains on life support as authorities investigate the incident, which they believe was accidental, reports MyFoxPhoenix.com.

Phoenix Police Sergeant Andy Hill says, "Somehow the little girl got something caught across her throat, she became unresponsive, the boy went and got the mother, and the mother came out and found the child."

Mel Gibson confirmed his girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva is pregnant after he was put in the hot seat by Jay Leno on The Tonight Show.

The actor spoke candidly with the TV host during his guest appearance, fielding questions about the dissolution of his marriage and joking about dating a younger woman in an episode that will air in the U.S. on Monday.

Gibson took the opportunity to clear up reports about his relationship with estranged wife Robyn, who filed for divorce in April - blaming himself for the split.

He told Leno, "My wife and I, our marriage ended three years ago and we've been separated ever since then. These things happen. It's unfortunate, it's sad, but you know she is an admirable woman - we still got kids together. We're friends...

"Look, when it's all said and done, I did a pretty good hatchet job on my marriage myself. I'm to blame. If you're inclined to judge, put it here."

Leno then attempted to lighten the mood by asking about Gibson's new younger lover, joking, "What, is she 17, 18?"

The Mad Max star said the Russian singer is nearer to 40, before quipping, "Now I am going to have two women mad at me!"

Gibson was then prodded about rumours Grigorieva is pregnant with the couple's first child, to which Gibson confirmed, "This is true. We're gonna have a child."

Leno teased about his growing brood, "So that will make 29?", with Gibson shooting back, "Well, actually eight. I guess I'm Octo-Mel."

Mia Farrow has recovered from her gruelling fast in time to watch her son graduate from law school.

The actress travelled to New Haven, Connecticut on Sunday for 21-year-old Ronan's commencement, just weeks after doctors forced her to end the fast she had embarked upon to raise awareness of starving refugees in the Sudan.

And she has high hopes her newly-qualified son will follow in her footsteps and use his education to fight for those in need around the world, revealing on her blog, "He is going into government."

Ronan, who is estranged from his father Woody Allen, already boasts an impressive resume - he deferred his law degree to work as a special assistant to Richard Holbrooke, former United States Ambassador to the United Nations.
