Rod Stewart's wife Penny Lancaster has revealed that she and her husband are still hoping to conceive a second child.

The 38-year-old model and 64-year-old singer have two-year-old son Alastair, while Stewart also has six other children from previous relationships.

Lancaster's spokesperson told the Daily Mail: "There are so many factors that combine, but they plan to keep trying.

"They would dearly love a younger brother or sister for Alastair and they will continue to try until it happens and everyone is wishing them luck."

The rep added: "I'm sure it will happen eventually. They did manage to conceive Alastair perfectly naturally. I'm not sure if Penny has considered IVF, that's something which is very personal."

The couple first announced plans for another child in 2007 and reiterated their hopes a year later.

FGS, he is 64 years old already, this would mean another child that would have an ancient parent and nobody knows whether Rod will still be around to help the kid with its GCSE's or whatever the exams are called by then.

Nicole Scherzinger has reportedly hinted that she is ready to marry boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.

Speaking to Hello! magazine, the Pussycat Dolls singer suggested that a summer wedding could be on the cards if she gets her own way.

"Would I get married? For sure and, yeah, the Dolls can be the bridesmaids... but I have to get engaged first," she said.

"Late July is looking good. Marriage is a seal of love. On my solo album, I have sung about how much I love that and what the whole process would mean to me. Who needs a reason to seal their love?"

Scherzinger previously admitted that she wanted to have children with the Formula One champion, who she began dating last year.

But if it were me i'd hate to have parents that were so old when I was at high school or whatever. Like, I think my parents are quite young, I'm 16 and my mum is 38 and my dad is 41, and compared to my other friends they are really young lol. One girl in my class has both parents over 50, but then when my brother starts high school they will seem quite old because he is only 6. I have nothing against that because it doesn't matter about your age, it's how you actually are as a parent that counts.

Sarah Jessica Parker has taken aim at America's Star magazine over the measures journalists and photographers are going to to unearth information about the woman carrying the actress' surrogate twins.

Parker admits she is "incredibly outraged" by the 'outing' of the birth mum-to-be - and the fact even the young woman's friends are being tailed by the paparazzi.

In an exclusive TV interview with news show Access Hollywood, she says, "(It's) an extraordinary and unprecedented invasion of her privacy.

"The most unsavoury things have been done. She’s had her phone hacked, her personal computer information hacked, she’s had threats against her and true harassment... She’s had friends threatened and family threatened and she’s had family of friends threatened.

"She’s had a friend, who was thought to be her, chased down a highway... This friend is nine months pregnant.

"It’s crossed lines... Pretty much all the lines have been crossed... There’s simply no excuse for doing this to somebody. It’s not acceptable."

But Parker insists, whatever dirt the tabloids dredge up on her surrogate, that she and husband Matthew Broderick have made the right choice: "I’m beyond comfortable with who she is. We haven’t been reckless, we haven’t been cavalier. She hasn’t been reckless."

The actress only wishes she could be of more service to the woman expecting her twins: "It’s really incredibly upsetting to think of her so far away and me not being able to do something, beyond what I’m legally allowed to do."

British actress Lucy Gordon, who starred in Spider-Man 3, has committed suicide in her Paris flat, her agent has confirmed.

Police in the French capital said the body of the 28-year-old, who was tipped to become the new Jane Birkin, was found hanging from the ceiling of her mansion block apartment near the River Seine.

"It was a horrific scene," said one officer.

"The young woman had taken her own life in terrible circumstances. We are not seeking anyone else. It was a clear case of suicide."

The Oxford-born actress and model played the character Jennifer Dugan in the third instalment of Spider-Man.

She appeared in around a dozen other films, having made her big screen debut in 2001, including two that are in post-production.

In one of those, a French film charting the life of late singer-songwriter Serge Gainsbourg, she played Swinging 60s actress and singer Jane Birkin.

Miss Gordon's fresh looks and passion for France had seen her compared to Birkin in real life.

The Gainsbourg biopic, Vie Heroique, is currently being previewed at the Cannes Film Festival.

A festival organiser said: "We are devastated by this news. All those attending the festival had been hugely impressed by Lucy's work.

"She was a star in the making."

Agents for Miss Gordon, who had recently moved to Paris from New York, confirmed she had "ended her own days".

Natalie Cole is recuperating after a successful kidney transplant, it has emerged.

The daughter of late jazz musician Nat King Cole received the kidney from a deceased organ donor, her spokeswoman said yesterday.

She added that Cole will have to rest for the next three to four months and must postpone her planned summer tour.

Cole previously received a number of offers from members of the public wishing to donate her a kidney after she appeared on Larry King Live.

The singer has been on dialysis three times a week since last September when both her kidneys failed following treatment for hepatitis C.

JUST a year after they got back together, SEAN PENN and his wife ROBIN are set to divorce.

The Oscar-winning actor filed for separation just days after their 13th wedding anniversary.

And he is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their children, 18-year-old daughter Dylan and 15-year-old son Hopper.

Sean Penn originally filed for divorce in December 2007, however, after four short months apart, the couple reconciled in April of last year.

During their separation he was linked to LEONARDO DiCAPRIO's ex-girlfriend PETRA NEMCOVA.

Rumours of a second split first surfaced in February when he failed to mention his wife during his Best Actor acceptance speech at the Academy Awards.

And just last month, he was rumoured to be romancing actress NATALIE PORTMAN - although the reports were denied by sources close to the Hollywood actor.

Penn was married to the Pop Queen MADONNA, before he met Robin.

The marriage lasted four years during which time Penn was charged with assaulting a photographer, and domestic assault.

They divorced in 1989.

Sean Penn has reportedly filed for a dismissal of his second divorce case from actress Robin Wright.

Marin County, California court records show that the actor requested on Thursday that his legal separation be dropped, People reports.

The couple originally began court proceedings in December 2007 after 11 years of marriage. In April 2008, their first divorce case was dismissed.

"This appears to imply that they're reconciling again. It's unlikely Sean Penn would request a dismissal for any other reason," an LA divorce attorney said.

Penn and Wright are yet to officially comment.
