I'm most excited about seeing Lily Allen and The Specials. Like, I can't put into words how excited I am about it... And it will be a nice reward after all the exams
cool hope you have a good time

I bought my mum a new PC today. Her laptop is really slow and I got annoyed when I was using it earlier (left my laptop at uni). Should be here on Monday. I'm rather jealous, it's a gaming PC, 4gb ram and 320gb harddrive.

After all my mum does for me, looking after me when I'm ill, paying for food at uni etc, it's the least I can do. She does family history which keeps her busy when my dad is at work. I've noticed that she's become more depressed recently as she can't use the laptop as much as she'd like. What makes her happy, makes me happy

She told me off earlier for ringing the house phone from my mobile when I was upstairs in bed. I didn't have the energy to shout and ask her to make me a cup of tea (I only do that when I can't get out of bed) so I rang instead

Today hasn't been bad actually. I feel so much better being at home. I was up at 9am, the sun was shining. Did shout at my mum for waking me up, making a doctors appointment for 9.45am and putting my underwear in the tumble dryer last night. I forgot how good it is to be at home during the week. Saw my GP, he asked me how I really am and said I shouldn't stay somewhere if I'm not happy, but to make sure I think it through and make the right choice. I felt a lot happier after seeing him.

I've also managed to do some work for my assignment. So it took nearly three hours when I could have done it in less than an hour but it got done and I'm happy with it. I'm looking forward to writing this assignment, will probably start the write up later in the week.

All in all, a very productive day I hope it's going to be like this when I move back home in a couple of months.

Going shopping tomorrow morning with my sister. It's her 21st today, she's having a do tomorrow night and I haven't got anything to wear (I suppose I could find something but shopping with my sister sounds more fun). Will see lots of family that I haven't seen since August so I'm looking forward to that. Not looking forward to the inevitable talk about uni, my course and the question everybody asks ("so you want to be a police officer when you leave uni?").

Ah well. Waffle, waffle, waffle. I'm in a happy mood for the first time in a long while
    Thanks CrazyLea
