How Was Your Day? High Five

im so annoyed its untrue! we had to apply for the module that we wanted to do for the whole of the 4th year (next year). got an email yesterday telling us what we had been given and i didnt get the one i wanted! the module i wanted was meant to have 15 places on it but the lecturer lowered it to 10 cos apparently it was too much marking for him to do! anyway only 9 people got given that module so there is still a spare place but i got given another one so that there was enough people doing the module i got given for it to be taught next year. while i dont want the module cancelled for the people that want to do it, i dont see why i should be made to do something else instead, especially when the module i want to do isnt full! tried to find out today who i should contact about this so i could try and get it changed but apparently i have to tell my course rep, even though id rather have a meeting with them myself. it spoilt my night yesterday cos i read the email before i went out for my friends bday and cos i was so annoyed and disappointed i only went to her house for about 1hr and then left when they rest of them went to the club as i really wasnt in the mood

sorry for the rant but im so so p!$$ed off with the whole drama department, and they wonder why so many people in my year are leaving at the end of this year instead of staying for the full 4 years!

on a slightly happier note, my sis is down here today cos shes got an interview so my mum is going to buy us lunch in wetherspoons in a bit

I understand where you're coming from. At the end of the day, it's your degree and you should be able to choose which modules and areas you want to specialise in.

I missed my morning lecture Slept through my alarm. Going to this afternoon's lecture then dashing back for my bag to go to Newcastle.

exactly. my year group have been messed around so much since we started and have had so many choices cancelled without any new modules added, but seeing as we only do one module for the whole year it needs to be something i want to do cos i dont have anything else to pull the marks up if i do badly

thanks im so glad i dont have to do a dissertation, i find it difficult enough just writing normal essays lol!

i almost missed mine, i didnt wanna get out of bed cos it was too cold! i should be doing work too but im probably just gonna leave it all til tomorrow now!
