Snow!

My friend made a good point this morning; Switzerland and places like that have snow all the time - and they cope fine, a bit of snow for england and everything closes down

the thing is though, they have snow all the time so theyre prepared for it. i saw on the news cars in russia with these snow tyre things, we dont need those in this country cos we dont have snow enough, i dont think people would pay for all this stuff just for 1 day a year

I hope the snow isn't too bad over night in the south. I'm going back home for the weekend tomorrow, so if theres lots of snow the trains might be cancelled, which would be annoying.

my mum said its meant to snow again in the south/london at the weekend, dunno if shes right though

i used to love it when school closed! i heard that over 1000 schools closed on monday! my dad couldnt get into work, all the trains were cancelled so he had to stay at home, only 2 people out of 25 were actually in his office on monday and they were both going to go home after only being there half hour!

Herts uni sent an email saying their open day this Saturday may be cancelled. Noo I was counting on that to help me make up my mind.

We ALWAYS have school closed. Like, almost everytime it snows.. We were sent home from school a couple of years ago because there was a really bad blizzard and it was going to get worse, and then too dangerous for us to go home. School was closed for the next two days after that

we never had it closed all day, we would always have to go in and then be sent home!

Well, we usually get TONS of snow. And it's all hilly where I live so driving is dangerous.. I just think the teachers just say they can't get into school so they don't have to work. Well.. I know that's the case with atleast one of them.
