Roxy was silly. She seen the ice cracking underneath her and Ronnie was shouting for her to run and she just stood there?! I didn't like these pair of episodes at all - I thought the acting was weak, the scenes on the ice were silly and poorly done but I am glad to see the back of the Roxy's baby storyline as I was never a big fan of it anyway. I thought these two episodes were going to be big, but I thought it was just one big anti climax. Oh well, at least there wasn't another "New Year" death..

Excuse me but did something happen last night LOL
OK Sean and Roxy are in the water,, Ronnie dives in and pulls her sister out,, they should be shivering and dripping wet,, stupid stupid ?Roxy goes to the baby and pulls it to her chest ( she had a fake fur coat that would absorb half the lake like a sponge ) and she hugs that tiny PREEMIE to her WET CHEST ??
Me and My partner were sitting there picking that scene apart,, and oh Sean comes out,, no one HEARS HIM ?? Why on earth is Jack holding Ronnie OUTSIDE.. why didn't he bundle both girls up in the car and take the baby and go,,, stupid stupid dumb dumb dumb Are the EE writers that thick,, do they not know what hypothermia is ???How old are these writers 10-12 yrs old ???? gee
OK so obviously they have "left the door open" for Sean's return ????

I'm with you on this one JJ. How unbelievable was that. It was all very emotional and than end it all on such a far fetched storyline. It is really a shame. But hey they had to bring Roxy and Ronnie together and Jack of course. It is nearly impossible to find someone in the water when it is dark. And the water must have been numbing.

I'm glad they are leaving the door open for Sean. I loved Stacey she was very level headed and Lacey is a good actress.

Plus how did Jack and Ronnie get from Walford to Connaught Water so quickly? It's at least half an hour away by road, assuming no traffic. But the main thing really, as has been said, is the blackness of the water and its temperature. It just seemed like a little swim in the Mediterranean!

that why i don't like stunts like this, they are so obviously fake that it ruins any sense of tension. one thing i did find darkly amusing was that Ronnie went staright in the water after Roxy and Jack just stood there and floundered. coward.

Was also weird how Sean just got out and walked away? He was soaking wet from FREEZING water... he's wondered off? Unless he goes home to get a change of clothes and a warm up no way will he survive the night.. surely lmao?

I tuned in to see Sean's exit, the first time I've watched EE for probably a year - have to say, don't think I'll bother again.

Yey lets go swimming in a freezing cold water, as if we were in tropical climates, fishing by hand!

All of it was extremely disappointing I have to say.

More plausible than Sean surviving the night after falling in to freezing cold water and having nowhere to go to get warm....
