    I Pod Touch

Anyone got one of these or know someone with one?

Just brought one, waiting for it to come. My mate has one and its so called, you select everything by touching it.

Best of all you can get wifi net on it, so it's handy when your out and about to check emails/wifi if there's free wifi being transmitted through the air. I'll be able to take it home for weekends or to campus to get online without having to take my laptop with me

my only worry is that the screen will get damaged, as i know touch screens are really sensative, if anything presses on it with force in my bag, it may break it

i think the portable wifi thing swung it for me.

oh right. no offence to anyone, but it sounds slightly pointless spending all that money on one then, especially if you already have an ipod

It's a bit like the iPhone only difference being you can't make phone calls on it, if you already have a phone and an ipod there isn't much point in it you can do all the calendar stuff on phones

I've got one - I find the WiFi invaluable as I can check my emails without having to get the laptop out etc. The small keyboard can take a bit of getting used to though, as can the small screen when you are online, plus its not the quickest. Hubby bought mine for me, but I'm getting a Blackberry next month through the business, so not sure how much of the iPod I'll actually be using after that to that extent, bar for my music in the car etc as normal.
