Thats good news, its the initial shock thats scary when you first hear the C word.

I am going home for the weekend. I have some concerts and people to see, so get it over and done with then i wont need to go back for a bit. But a single ticket is 6 quid with my rail card which i am really impressed with.

WIll also swing for my house mate if he turns the heating off one more time when someone has switched it on! Its driving me crazy! i thiknk the space will do us both good!

thursday i had a seminar which was ok, we just watched loads of comedy clips! i had to buy a book to read for next week and i had to get it in the campus bookshop cos otherwise i wouldnt get it on time, it costs a fortune in there and i was in the queue for at least half hour! and thats adding to the 1hr 20mins it took me to get up to uni cos of the stupid buses!

yesterday i didnt have to go anywhere cos i dont have lectures on friday and cheerleading was cancelled cos the sports hall was being used for some uni fair or something. so i stayed in my pyjamas all day lol and just lazed around a bit though i did finish tidying my room so that was good!

today im gonna try and do all the reading i have to do and start my presentation

Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.

I have had quite a mixed few days. From wednesday to friday i was away with 20 other s6 pupils and 2 teachers on a residential retreat. We learned about relationships with ourself, others and God (it wasn't holy in the slightest part from saying a prayer in the morning and at night). It was really good and it was a mixed group of us that went and some people hadn't spoke to each other before and not spoke to people in years and we all became a lot closer. On the last day we had to write notes to each other saying good things so you got 21 notes in total and they are so lovely. One of the teacher says he still has his from his s6 reatreat and if you are ever down you sholud read them and it will give your self-esteem a boost. But then when i got back i got dropped straight off at the hiardressers and got my hair done and i was in a really good mood but when i was leaving i noticed i had missed calls from my mum so i phoned and it turns out my grandad had died that morning. It was expected though as he had been in hospital for weeks and everyone thinks its better off.Rather was a damper on my good mood but i was still quite happy which was weird i suppose and at night me and my mum still went to a charity race night as the money was for my little cousin bu my dad didn't go(it was his dad).Sorry for the long post lol

Sorry about your grandad, but a lot of the time it takes time for news to properly sink in, that is why you only now realise he has gone for good. I am a believer that his spirit would have been with you and your mum at the charity race supporting you .
