I spent most of the day at the hospital today. I had to go for X rays on my face. One side of my face is bigger than the other and they wanted to see what has caused it... they did the X ray and you could see that one side of my face - the bone was sticking out slightly more on side than the other bone on the other side... compliment of the day they said it was a "weird case" and I have a bigger mouth than what is usual ...I had to bite into this wax so they could see how my jaw functions when I eat something.
Now, I have to see the surgeon as they want to investigate why my face is like this and they fear that my one side may grow out and become bigger than the other side and if so, I may need surgery...but it could just stay as it is now with one side being slightly bigger - the surgeon will basically just give me a scan of my jaw, then offer his expert opinion and advice.
