didnt really do anything yesterday. today i went food shopping with my mum which im sure was way more boring than usual lol! then i had to make a cheerleading routine up cos my sis helps at a guides group and she has to take the group tomorrow and the theme is international so she told the main leader i would come in and teach them some cheerleading (as the american part!) so i was just gonna teach them the basic motions and jumps cos i only have half an hour with them but my sis told me today she wanted a bit of a routine too. i hope theyre not disappointed cos i cant teach them any stunts and interesting stuff like that cos they have no mats and i dont want any of them hurting themselves and suing me lol!

And the teacher forgot about the fact she'd left a boy in the class with me who had been naughty. Luckily I managed to chill him out and he was perfectly fine for me after I'd read him a book.
There's some characters mind! I can't keep up! Haha
I think I definately want to go into Primary School teaching now .. jsut don't know how I go about it or anything like what courses in Uni. Blergh aha

Dancing later which I'm jsut not in the mood for. Ah well.
glad you enjoyed your first day i know theres 2 routes you can take into primary teaching, you can either do a 3yr primary teaching degree or you can do a 3yr degree in a specific subject of your choice (maths, history, english etc) and then do a year teacher training afterwards. it depends really whether you want another degree to fall back on. also look on the ucas website, it will list all the unis which do teaching degrees and you can read over the modules/syllabus to get an idea of what the course would be like

I love teaching, and recommend it as a career, Kirsty. You get 13 weeks off a year, but you work damn hard in term time, and normally 6 days a week..60+ hours. It can be very stressful, loaded down with pointless paperwork, pressure to achieve aspirational targets/SAT results, but I wouldn't change my job for the world.

I did a three year B.A. (hons) degree with teaching status, at Durham university - enjoyed every minute of it.

Thanking the fabulous TAbbie, for the banner!

I went to B&Q after work to get paint. Finally decided to get my fingure out of my bum and get some decorating done as it won't do it it's self. I bought some shocking pink paint for Marley's room and have painted half the room tonight already, and some blue paint for the living room, which I plan to get done over the weekend.

Thanks to Vicky for my great new banner xxx

You could a degree in something you enjoy like English or whatever and then go onto to a PGCE which is what a lot of my friends have done if you cannot find the right teaching degree which i think is four years. You still become a qualified teacher. Plus in three years time youd be 21 22, and maybe ready to move a bit further a field.

I dont know what stage you are at in education but you have to make sure you got at least one national curriculum subject at A Level.

Off to work now. Feel like im depriving Soapboards of my attention, i dont have time anymore.

Woke up to feathers today...no bird just feathers all. over. my. floor. And two little bits of wing. Where the bird got to I've no idea! (But I think it's safe to assume it's joined the mouse ).

Field trip tomorrow with college...fun .
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.
