I've got a feeling that he was responsible for Zainab's scars. She actually seemed frightened of him while they were at the front door after she had told Jase to put the blanket back on the wall. I think there's definately some history there.

yes, i was wondering why he effected her so much. Zainab doesn't normally take any rubbish from anyone and whist she is concerned about being a good muslim i was really surprised she would let someone bad mouth her family to such an extent. i thought she was going to blow up and shout at him at the end, but she didn't.

I dont really know, I mean she doesnt seem the type, but you never know

My hunch is that the Uncle sees her as unworthy of being married to Masood. Maybe she used to do something that he considers unsuitable? The "like mother like daughter" comment as well as the look that Zainab gave Shabnam when she saw her pole dancing makes me think there's definately something in her past and the Uncle knows about it, he's definately got something on her. Zainab is very volatile and feisty with everybody but with him she's completely subservient.

Totally agree. Ronnie should let Roxy let her own mind up, it's her decision, no-one else's.
