eh!! I thought you said he wasn't ill???
He was ill. He got better. Now he is ill again. I don't think getting better was an act. He did get better. Nobody can fool a mental health professional into thinking otherwise. He probably had a relapse after getting better for a while - he did throw away his medication after all.
How do you know I am not mentally ill? Could put you in touch with loads of people that will very easily confirm this.

As for mental health professionals - they have been fooled for the past century and will be fooled for the next too by some people. I quoted loads of examples on another thread, mentally ill people have been released from mental institutes to rape, assault and kill again and again. It is a fact of life.

I agree. I think this is down to bad scriptwriting ruining Steven's charecter.
they didn't ruin his character... he started as a nutter and goes out as one too.. He was acting as been well.. just like May and Stella... they are all "perfect" but deep down totally crazy!!
I hated Stella for what she did to Ben. I was sorry for May and I can't help sympathising with Steven either. I'm off to the Steven Beale Appreciation Thread.
Hope you are not too lonely.

Don't worry. I am not. There are tons of people on there who like me do not condone Steven's actions but do have sympathy for him and empathy with him.

How can you sympathy for him cause he is ill.. Stella was ill too so what is the difference??? Sean is clearly ill too (it is possible he has inherited his mum's illness) but you don't have sympathy for either of them but you do Steven??

Hi Lizzie. So is everyone who disagrees with you stupid then?

    From Digital Spy:

"Hi Daniel. It's good to meet you. I'm Lizzie. I've been reading through this thread ever since it was put up and have only just recently managed to join Digital Spy. Try to ignore it if people slate Aaron/Steven - don't even bother to read the threads. I don't. Actually myself and Lennie were the only two Steven fans on the Soap, Drama and Spoilers boards and I've endured similar stupidity from people who dislike Steven."

I sometimes like Sean. I was sorry for him when Tanya finished with him and when he admitted to manslaughtering his father. I don't like what Sean is doing - bullying Gus - but that doesn't mean that my sympathy for his problems is any less. As for Stella she did abuse a young child so I have to be angry at her for that but it is possible that she too had her problems. As for May it is right she was arrested for what she did to Dawn but I still have sympathy with her sometimes.

I wasn't referring to you. I was referring to those who slate him on DS - saying the actor is as wooden as a coffee table etc.

No. I wasn't on the forum for a few minutes now actually - I was talking to mum. Look, we will always disagree on Steven. Sometimes that is the way it is. I still will not believe something till I see it for myself. Let us just just wait and see what happens first before saying anything.

Wow. Lot of action while I've been offline

To be honest, I think when you put a pillow over someone's face, generally the aim would be to kill them.. He's ill after all, and in his desperation he probably thinks it's the right thing to do to 'protect' Lucy by any means possible.
Peter: So how many are there? Is it bad? Olivia: Did you eat? Peter: Yeah. Olivia: Well, that's unfortunate.
