Oh right. Why didn't you just say basic. Would have been a lot easier ;-).
I give up already![]()

95% of everything is made up of what?
Clue: What do you see when you look up at the sky at night if its cloudy? Think broadly.
I'll probably confuse you with the reason behind the answer![]()
Thanks CrazyLea

thanks to vicky for making the banna!
This is a bit tricky to explain using words.
In an atom there is a nucleus made up of protons and neutrons. Around that there is one or more shells of electrons. Imagine these electrons are the earth and the nucleus is the sun.
Now imagine the earth is going round the sun very fast. Speed it up a lot more then again until you can't actually see the earth move.
The size of electrons compared to the nucleus is tiny. The distance between the nucleus and the electron shell is massive, there is nothing in between the two.
Therefore 95% of everything is made up of nothing.
That probably doesn't make sense to most of you. I think I've left a bit out but it is right because my physics teacher told us on Tuesday.
When I said think fundamental I meant the atom; protons, neutrons and electrons. There are even more fundamental particles than p, n and e. I sometimes forget that other people don't have an A level in physics![]()
Thanks CrazyLea
