I think Janine was genuine. I would love to see her back but she would have to fit in to todays EE and that might be difficult. I know Ricky will be there but, after everything and what people thought of her, i don't know how she could stay more long term.

It would be fab if she could stay Charlie Brooks said she missed EE. And Janine's a great character. Is it me or is the actress that plays Ricky's finacee as annoying and ditzy as she was in My Family? It will be good to have RICCKKKAYYY back and Bianca, is Diane staying too?

Liked tonights episode, classic Peggy 'You stupid fat old tart' and you got to love it when those two fight. Liked the old footage too.

That episode was ok...I just feel the scriptwriting let it down a bit. Pat and Peggy's conversation dragged on a bit...the slaps were funny though

Obviously Janine hasn't had any contact with Ricky or Diane for a long time. She asked Diane if she was still living in France and didn't know about her partner that she's been with for 3 years!

I think Pat and Frank were true soulmates. She genuinely had feelings for Roy and I think Frank did for Peggy too, but Pat and Frank were special together. Peggy knows that too and that's what really hurts her.

I'm really looking forward to Bianca and her brood turning up on the Square. I loved the character first time round and tonight she showed she's just as feisty as ever!

I love the idea of Bianca being back with her brood. Ricky not so much but EE is better now than it was when he last returned and he was lost as a character without Bianca really. Also gives Pat some real family again.

Good touch with the flash backs....didnt think much of the voice at the end but i was aware that happened because i watched a clip on the EE site

I thought it was a nice episode though...love Diane, would love her to stay but i dont think she will be

What a great episode. I laughed, I cried and I cringed.. it was amazing... peggy and pat fight was brilliant.. laughed so hard..

Kinda guess that the bow tie was in the box (I was hoping anyway) and cringed seen the spinning bow tie scene again.. Loved the flash backs

cried at the end.. Peggy and Pat supporting one another, it was really sweet... Well done EE very fitting tribute to Mike Reid (RIP)

I really enjoyed last night's episode.

Poor Pat, Frank was her great love and she was his and this is why Peggy was jealous i was so glad she was there in the end for Pat.

It nice seeing Ricky, Diane and Janine back.

Who know Diane was a lesiban??? Didn't she date Mark Fowler in the early days???

Take note Eastenders if they want a bitch/villian character bring back Janine not Claire.

Well Bianca' s back i must admit i was against it when i heard her and Ricky were returning but when i saw her and her kids i completely freaked out in a good way.

BTW does anyone else think Ricky is HOT? I never noticed before?

Diane dated Mark Fowler for a while but she rejected his proposal and left to live in France. I don't think that she has been a lesbian in EE before now.

I think that's true. Of course Pat was very tactless to say so to Peggy but yes I think Pat and Frank belong together or at least did as now he's dead. From that vague hint they let drop about him thinking it was only a headache, I'm guessing he died from a brain tumour.
