I don't like her anymore. She more of less forced Lauren, who felt ill and didn't want to go, out of the house, treats Sean like rubbish and doesn't seem to give a fig about the effect it will all have on her kids. I don't like Max at all mind but Tanya is being ruined and all the sympathy she got from Xmas is disappearing.

I was like WOW a bit OVER THE TOP .. EE has done it again( sort of like Janine pushing Barry off the cliff and watching him die )...actually I agree with Lizzie Brooks, now the deed is done neither Tanya nor Sean will enjoy their so called freedom..guilt is going to eat up on both of them. They will NEVER be able to take their relationship public now .

Interesting bit with Ian and Jane and the morgue...

I thought Friday's episode was just silly; if you want to drug someone, you don't put all the pills in a bottle of wine ( which you will be expected to drink off as well ), but in a single glass. Tanya not drinking wine was very unrealistic, Max was right, there was something wrong !!

And when he already came round in the coffin it just became more bizarre. A very dissapointing storyline. How can they ever get away with it, Jack will ask questions, and Abbi saw the fallen over chair in the kitchen + marks on the floor leading to the back door. All very amaturistic.

Of course Sean and Tanya can't ever go public now, and the girls will not accept him anymore either which they would have with a divorce.

    Good post, Gwennie.

I refrained from making any comment because I am hoping that Tanya has thought up some plausible excuse to explain Max's absence...we'll see...

It does look that way, but hopefully something will change. I did laugh when Tanya fell in the grave though, and Sean had to help her out!

I have to disagree....I thought it was a good unsettling episode.

Amaturistic - You mean Tanya's attempt at drugging etc... was amateur? Well isn't that the point, Tanya is noooo killer...its the first time she has attempted to do anything like that, and has become slightly unhinged because of Max's control and manipulation??? Therefore she isnt thinking in a rational way...and thought things through.

Thanking the fabulous TAbbie, for the banner!

It would have been better if she had poured herself a glass first then added the drug to the bottle that way, she could happily drink her glass without arousing suspicion from max

Tonight's episode was fatastic. Better than Friday's. Friday's I admit I felt was a bit OTT but watching Tanya talking today made me feel it wasn't that OTT, especially as Tanya went back. Superb acting from both Jake Wood and Jo Joyner. I can see that Tanya was desperate and not thinking straight. She's not a cold blooded killer - and Tanya has been one of my favourite characters always. She's right - she was sick and Max made her like that. Though I can't condone drugging someone and burying them alive it was good that happened in a way because it finally made Max realise what he did to her. Compulsive liar asnd manipulator though he is I think he was genuinely shocked at what Tanya just did and he just proved that he meant what he said by leaving without the children he loves. Tanya was right when she said that underneath everything Max is just a lost, scared little boy whose father treated him badly which is just pathetic.

Though Max usually does my head in I had sympathy for him tonight when I saw him suffocating in the coffin and then losing the signal after Abi wouldn't let him get a word in. It was good Max had a shock and he deserved some sort of punishment (but not death) for what he did. It's not just the affairs - its the lying, manipulating and all the rest of it. I wish Tanya had not used Sean. I think now Stacey was right - Tanya was attracted to Sean but down deep inside she can only ever love Max. As for Max - I can't condone his despicable actions yet I have some smpathy with him. If he'd only make the effort to go to a private clinic and sort himself out like Steven I might start to respect him. I'm glad Bradley slowly offered to have a drink with him - I suppose Max is still his dad at the end of the day but as Bradley says it takes time.

This storyline may have been far fetched and ridiculous but that episode was amazing! The interaction between Max & Tanya tonight was brilliant, every scene was superb. I honestly believe these are two of the best characters introduced to EE in years and the producers need to get them back together ASAP. And after tonights ep I do believe thats whats going to happen a few months down the line. Its too good an on-screen partnership to waste!

I absolutly agree with you Chris. It's been verrry far fetched and ridiculous but after tonights episode I forgive the writers! Tonights episdoe was amazing!!! Jo and Jake were absolutly brilliant!!!

(I think my dad was secretly watching too ;-) He was "reading a book".. not muchg page turning and too much contact on the tv I reckon ;-) ).

I feel sorry for Lauren and Abi. It will be hard on them. And can't believe they made Bradley agree to go for a drink, just as he was due to leave .

    Spoiler:
When does Jake return from paternity leave? I think that's where I read he was???
